Hopkinton Middle School teacher Charles Rockwood was named Teacher of the Year by Medway VFW Post 1526. Rockwood, who teaches Grade 7 English, supervises the Patriot Pen Essay Contest at HMS, holding workshops for his students to help with their essays.

Said Medway VFW Post 1526 adjutant Fred Souza: “HMS’ successes have set an example to all of the VFW posts that participate.”
