Sarah Rose (Cofoni) Clark, 75, died peacefully on August 24, 2018.
Cherished wife of Joseph for 54 years, Sarah loved her family, friends and life. A graduate of the University of Rhode Island, Sarah taught for many years in the Chariho and North Kingstown school districts. Her favorite pastimes included gardening, playing Bridge and Mah Jongg and all activities with her grandchildren. Born and raised in Westerly, Sarah was the daughter of Sylvester Cofoni and the late Sarah Cofoni.
Sarah is also survived by her daughter Amy Healey and husband Peter and their children Timothy Clark, Matthew Joseph and Caroline Sarah of North Kingstown, R.I.; by her daughter Beth D’Alleva and husband Mark and their children Andrew Clark, Ryan Mark and Daniel Joseph of Hopkinton; and by her daughter Ellen Clark and husband Jonathan Kelsey and their children Adelaide Rose and Parker Francis of Annapolis, Md. She is also survived by her siblings Sylvester Cofoni Jr. and his wife Diane, Paul Cofoni and his wife Karen, and Mary Cole and her husband Jeff as well as her in-laws Louis and Beverly Clark and Pam and Wayne Zdanowicz and many dear cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of life was held at Sunset Farm’s Kinney Bungalow, 505 Point Judith Road, Narragansett. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Massachusetts General Hospital ALS Clinic and Research Program in Sarah’s memory.
