Town turns off Alprilla Farm wells to relieve water discoloration

by | Sep 29, 2023 | News

The Water Department announced Friday morning that it has turned off the Alprilla Farm wells to help relieve the discoloration of the water in the area.

The wells will remain off “until further notice, barring any emergencies or dramatic increase in demand,” Water Department Manager Eric Carty stated.

Carty added that it may take a few days for the remainder of the discoloration to fully dissipate as it moves back and forth through the system.
