The Hopkinton Trails Club announced that the walk at the Hughes Farm Trail previously scheduled for this past Thursday has been moved to next Thursday (Aug. 3) at 7 p.m.

The walk, cosponsored by the Hopkinton Public Library, was postponed due to severe thunderstorms and the possibility of an isolated tornado.

This family-friendly event is scheduled to take about an hour to complete, and registration is not required. Participants should meet at the parking lot on Hayden Rowe Street. Experts from the Trails Club will lead walkers through the trail and discuss the history, flora, and fauna of the area. Most of the trail surface is stone dust.
