The Water Department announced Tuesday morning that due to multiple brush fires, road reconstruction and unauthorized contractor hydrant use, many areas of town are experiencing dirty water.

Crews were to flush hydrants in the affected areas.

On Monday, the Fire Department reported a 14-acre brush fire behind Echo Lake at the Milford town line.
