Water main break on Davis Road could lead to discoloration in center of town

by | Apr 22, 2021 |

According to Water and Sewer Department manager Eric Carty, there was a water main break on Davis Road on Wednesday night. Water was turned off while crews worked through the night to make repairs.

“Due to the nature of the break there could be discoloration throughout the center of town,” Carty noted.

Earlier Wednesday, the department was investigating water discoloration in the central eastern portion of town, which Carty indicated most likely was caused by the reactivation of the Alprilla Farms wells that had been offline for cleaning.
