An art exhibit titled “When We Were Trees” is underway at the Hopkinton Center for the Arts’ Lotvin Family Gallery.
In “When We Were Trees,” Linda Hoffman and daughter Ariel Matisse demonstrate, through the mutuality and interconnectedness of their art, how women empower each other when they connect with nature, trees, and their own bodies.
The exhibit is open to the public through Aug. 27. Gallery hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturdays.
A public in-person reception with the artists will take place Friday, Aug. 13, from 5-6:30 p.m.
