HPS winter concerts underway

HPS winter concerts

The Hopkinton Public Schools Music Department winter concerts start tonight, with Grade 6 performing at 6:30 at the Hopkinton Middle School auditorium.

The Grade 7 concert is next Monday (Dec. 13) at 6:30 at the HMS auditorium The Grade 8 concert is next Wednesday (Dec. 15) at the HMS auditorium.

Hopkinton High School has two upcoming concerts: concert band and jazz ensemble on Monday, Dec. 20, at 7 p.m., and chorus and orchestra on Wednesday, Dec. 22, at 7 p.m. Both will take place at the High School Athletic Center.

The Hopkins School Winter Concert is Monday, Jan. 24, at 7 p.m.

Masks are required at all concerts, and other restrictions are in place. The concerts will be livestreamed on HCAM. Check the Music Department web page for more information (hopkinton.k12.ma.us).

in other Music Department news, the following Hopkinton High School students were selected to participate in the 2022 Senior District Festival, which is being held virtually: Jordyn Ahlstrom-Hall (chorus), Abigail Baskin (orchestra/jazz), Jacob Chastain (jazz), Luciano Duca (chorus), Aditya Machiraju (band), Carolina Ozmun (orchestra) and Hana Ruran (chorus).
