Work on Echo Trail parking area starts this week

by | May 17, 2026 | News

Work on the Echo Trail parking area will start this week and is expected to continue through the rest of the month, the Hopkinton Trails Committee announced. During this time, the parking area may be temporarily closed or have limited availability.

The Trails Committee is leading the project in partnership with HALT (Hopkinton Area Land Trust).

The project will focus on upgrading the existing gravel parking area and may include regrading the surface, adding and compacting new gravel and addressing drainage issues.

The improvements are intended to create a more stable surface, reduce rutting and erosion and improve vehicle access.
