Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a video or two to brighten your morning.
Seaboard Solar, the Connecticut company that plans to install a ground-mounted solar array in the woods off Frankland Road, recently unveiled a possible new strategy to get the project moving forward despite lawsuits from abutters, applying for a forest-cutting permit from the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation.
Superintendent Carol Cavanaugh announced Monday morning that Hopkinton High School will continue to go remote through Wednesday. All other schools in the district will return to their usual schedule starting Tuesday.
Hopkinton Girl Scouts Troop 65040 spent part of Martin Luther King Day making Valentine’s Day cards for veterans, and the girls are encouraging others to do the same. The deadline to submit cards is Jan. 30.
Town meetings tonight include the Select Board (6), School Committee (7) and Zoning Advisory Committee (7).
