Gregory Gosselin

Gregory J.H. Gosselin, 37, of Berlin and formerly of Hopkinton, passed away peacefully on Jan. 15 at home surrounded by his family.

Greg was born Feb. 25, 1983, in Melrose, a son of the late James P. Gosselin. He graduated from Keefe Technical High School in Framingham. Greg served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force in Guam during the Iraq War. He worked as a welder for Raytheon Technologies. Greg was a simple guy who enjoyed relaxing at home with his wife and dog and listening to music.

Greg leaves behind his wife of six years, Kelly Gosselin; his mother, Patricia A. (Heaney) Gosselin of York, Maine; two brothers, Martin Gosselin and wife Jill of Brookline, New Hampshire. and Colin Gosselin and wife Jessica of Upton; two sisters-in-law, Lisa Murphy and husband Brian of West Boylston, and Laurie Gosselin of Worcester; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joseph and Pina (Sodano) Gosselin of Worcester; his nieces and nephews, Abigail and James Gosselin of Brookline, New Hampshire, Charlie and Owen Gosselin of Upton, and Kaylin and Matthew Murphy of West Boylston; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A period of calling hours will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 19, from 4-7 p.m. in the Mercadante Funeral Home and Chapel, 370 Plantation St., Worcester. His funeral service will be held privately. Masks and social distancing will be required in the funeral home during Greg’s services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Greg’s name to: MetroWest Hospice Care, 200 Nickerson Road, Suite 110, Marlborough, MA 01752.

    When I think of Greg I think of a big man,With a gentle spirit.I hadn’t seen Greg in years and as I was getting gas one day I hear hi joe it was Greg we chatted for a while and it was great to catch up as I drove away I couldn’t help think it was always so easy talking to him sometimes when you run into someone you haven’t seen in a while you don’t know what to say,not with Greg something to be said for that part of his charm!! You’ll be missed my friend
