HHS registration open for Fall 2 sports season (Feb.-April)

by | Feb 3, 2021 | Sports

Hopkinton High School athletic director Rich Cormier announced Wednesday that registration is open via FamilyID for the Fall 2 sports season, which starts later this month and runs until mid-April.

The deadline to sign up is Feb. 16, but families are asked to register as early as possible. There are limitations on how many players can be gathered in one location at a time, and advance planning is needed.

Sports offered during the Fall 2 season include football (varsity, junior varsity and freshman), swimming and diving (varsity), volleyball (varsity, JV1 and JV2) and unified basketball (varsity).

Information about the modifications to these sports due to COVID-19 can be found at the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association website.

Tryouts are scheduled to begin Feb. 22 (the Monday following February vacation). The tryout schedule will be posted on the HHS website in the next week.

Tryouts for the spring season are scheduled to start on April 26 (the Monday after April vacation). Sports offered in the spring include baseball, cheerleading, boys/girls lacrosse, softball, boys/girls tennis, boys/girls outdoor track and field, unified track and field, and wrestling.
