Announcements
In a few weeks, the library will be moving to a new way to book curbside pickups. The reservation system will be integrated into online catalog accounts and will allow patrons to book an appointment directly from the “Manage Your Account” library card portal. Users will need the account access information for the library card that the holds are placed on. Anyone who needs their card number or PIN should contact the library before the end of April.

Also, patrons of all ages now can check out DVDs from the library’s collection. Previously, DVDs owned by the library could only be checked out on adult library cards.

Library Strategic Plan Information Session
Wednesday, April 21, 6:30-7:30 p.m. (Zoom)
Library director Heather Backman will provide an overview of the library’s strategic plan for Fiscal Years 2022-27, preview some of the library’s plans for the next fiscal year and answer questions. This presentation will be recorded and made available on the library’s YouTube page. Register in advance on the website calendar to receive the Zoom link.

Companion Planting and Design
Tuesday, May 4, 6:30 p.m. (Zoom)

Returning to the Moon: NASA’s Artemis Program
Friday, May 7, 5 p.m. (Zoom)
National Space Day is the first Friday in May. To celebrate, join Patricia Moore from NASA’s Deep Space Exploration Division for a presentation and live discussion on the Artemis Program, whose goal is to land the first woman and next man on the moon by 2024.
