Road resurfacing to start in mid-June

by | May 15, 2019 | News

Mike Mansir, highway manager for the Town of Hopkinton, recently announced that pavement management work will start as soon as school ends in June and finish in September, when school starts.

Under the town’s road opening permit policy, no permit will be granted for a period of five years on newly paved streets except in the case of an emergency. Anyone whose street is on the list below who is considering having any utility work done that would require the road to be cut should contact the appropriate utility company and schedule the work to be completed before June 17.

The following streets are scheduled to be resurfaced this year (all full length).

  • Ray Street
  • Eastview Road
  • Partridge Road
  • Pheasant Hill Road
  • Wildlife Drive
  • Chestnut Street
  • Amherst Road
  • Beach Street
  • Duffield Road
  • Knoll Road
  • Lakeshore Drive
  • Third Road
  • Yale Road

Once work begins on each project, drivers should expect delays and seek alternate routes when possible.
