HHS spring sports get tournament schedules; all but lacrosse teams open postseason at home

Hopkinton High School’s athletic teams found out their tournament schedules on Wednesday, and all but two Hillers teams are playing at home in the opening round.

Girls tennis, seeded fourth in the Division 1 South sectional, hosts 13th-seeded Silver Lake on Friday at 3:30 p.m.

Softball, seeded 10th in the Division 1 South sectional, hosts 23rd-seeded Franklin on Friday at 4 p.m. at Lauren Anderson Field.

Wrestling, seeded third in the Division 2 Central sectional, hosts sixth-seeded Algonquin on Friday at 5 p.m. The match will be held outside, on Field 1 (directly behind Hopkinton Middle School).

Girls lacrosse, seeded 14th in the Division 1 East sectional, will travel to third-seeded Bishop Feehan on Friday (time TBA).

Baseball, seeded fifth in the Division 2 South sectional, hosts 12th-seeded North Quincy on Monday at 6 p.m.

Boys lacrosse, seeded fifth in the Division 2 Central/East sectional, visits fourth-seeded Wayland on Monday at 6 p.m.

Boys tennis, seeded second in the Division 2 South sectional, hosts the winner of No. 7 Plymouth and No. 10 Ashland on Monday (time TBA).
