Tournament action continued for Hopkinton High School’s spring teams Monday.

Josh Fischer pitched a shutout to lead the baseball team past North Quincy, 3-0. Cam Mulvaney drove in two of the Hillers’ runs, and Andrew Gaughan scored the other on a wild pitch. Fifth-seeded Hopkinton, now 13-3, advances to play fourth-seeded Dighton-Rehoboth in the Division 2 South quarterfinals on Wednesday.

Boys tennis overpowered visiting Plymouth South, 5-0. Aidan Yagoobi, Lex Kaye and Adam Glace won their singles matches, while the doubles teams of Spencer Smith-Thomas Guerra and Andrew Palacios-Barry Wang were victorious as well. Second-seeded Hopkinton, now 14-1, advances to host Tri-Valley League rival Westwood, the sixth seed, on Wednesday Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Division 2 South semifinals.

The softball team saw its season end with a 17-5 loss at Silver Lake. The hosts scored nine times in the first inning to put Hopkinton in a big hole early. The Hillers ended with an impressive record of 12-5.

Boys lacrosse fell at Wayland, 11-6. Goalie Colin Norred did his part to keep the game close, and the Hillers trailed by just one at the half, 5-4, before Wayland pulled away.
