Sharon Schiloski

Sharon E. Schiloski, 73, of Hopkinton passed away suddenly on June 26 at Mass General Hospital in Boston, surrounded by her five boys. Born March 26, 1948, in Framingham, she was the loving daughter of the late Francis and Helen (Bernard) Deiana. She was the wife of the late Robert Schiloski.

Sharon worked at both Clearpoint and Carbone’s in Hopkinton for many years, before retiring to take care of her most prized possessions in life, her grandchildren. Sharon was the most devoted mother, nana, sister and aunt. She was loved by so many and had a way of making an entire room laugh. Not a day went by that she didn’t speak to her loved ones. She is survived by her five beautiful sons: Robert Schiloski and wife Jill of Franklin, Peter Schiloski of Mendon, Philip Schiloski and wife Jody of Hopedale, Richard Schiloski and wife Sandy of Upton, and David Schiloski of Hopkinton. She also leaves behind 14 grandchildren, soon to be 10 great-grandchildren, siblings Helen Ware, Sheila Matejko and husband Mike, Richard Deiana, William Deiana and fiancée Kathleen, Terri Kenney and husband Jack, David Deiana and wife Stella, and Peter Deiana and wife Mary, sister-in-law Lola Dzerkacz and husband Frank, and brother-in-law Kenneth Schiloski, as well as many nieces and nephews who she loved like her own. She was predeceased by brothers Francis and Bruce Deiana, sister Cindy Deiana, and brothers-in-law Philip and Paul Schiloski.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 29, from 5-8 p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Hopkinton, 57 Hayden Rowe St. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 30, at 10 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Parish Chesmore Funeral Home [Note: Moved due to the heat]. Burial will be held privately at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sharon’s name may be made to BayPath Elder Services, Inc., 33 Boston Post Road West, Marlborough, MA 01752.
