ARRESTS

 

May 26

1:35 a.m. On West Main Street, Officers Brian Sanchioni, Preston Mucciarone and Ryan Polselli arrested Nicholas G. Ludorf, 21, of 4 John Matthew Road and charged him with OUI liquor and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

2:14 a.m. Officers Ryan Polselli and Preston Mucciarone arrested Taidgh A. Scanlon, 18, of 5 Morse Lane and charged him with OUI liquor.

 

June 2

12:55 a.m. After the pinging of an ankle bracelet monitor on Pine Island Road, Sergeant Matthew McNeil and Officer Ryan Polselli responded and arrested Erik G. Larson, 32, of 31 Emmons St., Milford, on a warrant.

May 21

11:49 a.m. A caller reported a bull escaped from Arena’s slaughterhouse on Ash Street. Officer Arthur Schofield responded and spoke with the caller, who stated the animal is now in the woods. The animal control officer was contacted.

1:27 p.m. School Resource Officer Philip Powers reported the high school principal needs assistance. Officer Matthew Santoro responded and assisted.

6:40 p.m. An Ash Street caller reported a black and white cow walked behind his property. The Animal Control Officer was contacted.

6:49 p.m. A caller reported he may have lost a credit card in the parking lot behind the Fire Department. He wanted the incident logged.

9:37 p.m. The Ashland Police Department reported a black sedan driving with no headlights on East Main Street towards the center of town. Officer Derek Morton checked the area with a negative find.

 

May 22

6:25 a.m. An Ash Street caller reported the bull from yesterday is back on her property. Sergeant Matthew McNeil responded and contacted the animal control officer. Arena’s Slaughterhouse was also contacted.

10:02 a.m. A walk-in reported repeated issues with a neighbor’s dog attacking his dogs. Sergeant Matthew McNeil took a report.

10:54 a.m. A Proctor Street resident reported receiving a scam phone call and wanted the incident logged.

4:31 p.m. A caller reported a bull in the woods on Ash Street. Officers Matthew Santoro and Benjamin Stickney responded and attempted to contact the owner.

7:15 p.m. A caller reported five vehicles drag racing on Cedar Street. Officers Derek Morton and Benjamin Stickney responded and advised the motorists to leave the area.

 

May 23

1:20 a.m. A caller reported a black and white cow in the roadway of Ash Street. Officer Preston Mucciarone responded and could not locate the animal.

5:24 a.m. The Ashland Police Department requested assistance capturing a resident’s pet duck, which was walking up Route 135 toward Hopkinton. Officer Philip Powers responded and checked the area with a negative find.

8:23 a.m. A caller reported losing her car keys at the Fruit Street fields and wanted the incident logged.

1:34 p.m. Construction workers on East Main Street reported a resident has been harassing them. Officers Stephen Buckley and Ryan Polselli responded and spoke with all involved parties, who agreed to leave each other alone.

1:33 p.m. A caller reported vandalism at Center School on Ash Street. Sergeant Scott van Raalten responded and a report will follow.

2:56 p.m. A Longwood Road caller reported a suspicious TruGreen truck driving around the neighborhood about two hours ago. The caller wanted the incident logged.

3:17 p.m. A caller reported a child got off the school bus at home on Teresa Road instead of at Kidsboro on Hayden Rowe Street. Officer Derek Morton responded and provided a courtesy transport for the child.

5:16 p.m. A Bowker Road resident reported a black and white cow on her property. Sergeant Timothy Brennan and Officers Derek Morton and Benjamin Stickney responded along with the animal control officer, who captured the animal in Holliston. It was subsequently brought to Sherborn.

 

May 24

5:27 a.m. A caller reported a snapping turtle in the middle of the roadway of Fruit Street. Sergeant Aaron O’Neil responded and reported the tortoise slowly moved from the roadway and was no longer a hazard.

8:35 a.m. A caller reported a motor vehicle accident involving two cars on Main Street. No injuries were reported Officers Stephen Buckley and Arthur Schofield responded. An ambulance was requested, and two people refused evaluations. A tow truck removed one vehicle.

2:47 p.m. A Rocky Woods Road caller reported debris in the roadway obstructing traffic. Officer Jay Deiana responded and removed planter pots from the road.

1:35 p.m. A walk-in requested to speak with an officer about a case of harassment that took place at school yesterday. Officer Arthur Schofield responded.

2:08 p.m. An Elmwood School employee reported a student did not get off the bus at the YMCA and she believes the child may have taken the bus home. Officer Jay Deiana responded and located the boy at his Morse Lane home. His father had just returned home.

3:15 p.m. A walk-in handed in ammunition that she found in her garage.

10:05 p.m. A Woodview Way caller reported parties followed her home from the hospital. Officer John Corridan responded and spoke with the woman.

 

May 25

8:06 a.m. A C Street caller reported a suspicious man in tan shorts and black top walking with a cane in the neighborhood. Officer Arthur Schofield responded and spoke with the man, a neighbor, who was just out for a walk in the neighborhood.

11:59 a.m. A walk-in spoke with Officer Preston Mucciarone about a phone scam.

2:22 p.m. A Front Street business owner reported someone is threatening to burn his family’s business down via text message. Officer Benjamin Stickney responded and a report will follow.

5:12 p.m. A walk-in reported a suspicious person on Tammer Lane. Officer Benjamin Stickney responded and the person was gone upon his arrival.

7:39 p.m. A caller complained of boys skateboarding in the middle of the roadway of Hayden Rowe Street. Officer Jay Deiana responded and the boys were gone upon his arrival.

9:13 p.m. A Briarcliff Drive resident reported hearing gunshots in the area. Officers Brian Sanchioni and John Corridan responded and found all quiet.

11:27 p.m. A caller reported a disabled motor vehicle that is stuck in mud at a construction site on Weston Lane. Officers Brian Sanchioni, Preston Mucciarone, and Ryan Polselli responded and assisted.

 

May 26

2:10 a.m. An Ash Street resident complained of music playing loudly at a nearby party. Officer Brian Sanchioni responded and no music was playing upon his arrival.

10:26 a.m. A motorist reported a grey SUV struck a dog on Clinton Street and drove away. Officers Philip Powers and John Corridan responded and found the dog breathing but unable to move. The animal control officer responded and the owner arrived on the scene to retrieve his pet.

1:20 p.m. A caller reported a child sitting unattended in a parked vehicle on Main Street. Officer Philip Powers responded and the vehicle was gone upon his arrival.

3:07 p.m. A caller reported a dog barking inside a parked vehicle with the window cracked open on West Main Street. Officer Ryan Polselli responded and spoke with the owner, who was not concerned, as there was no potential injury to the dog.

8:25 p.m. A caller reported his son’s vehicle broke down on Cedar Street and he awaiting a tow. The caller requested a check of his son. Officer Jay Deiana responded and assisted.

 

May 27

12:57 a.m. A caller complained of a motorcycle revving and speeding down Chestnut Street. Officer Derek Morton responded and found all quiet upon his arrival.

11:31 a.m. A caller reported dirt bikes driving across East Street business property. Officers Arthur Schofield and John Corridan responded and located the riders and shut them down.

11:28 a.m. A walk-in handed in a wallet. The owner picked it up a short time later.

3:15 p.m. A Lakeshore Drive caller reported his neighbor was burning furniture in his yard. Officers Derek Morton, Jay Deiana and Philip Powers responded along with the Fire Department, which confirmed furniture was on fire. The fire was extinguished.

5:34 p.m. A walk-in reported a syringe on the roadway of Ash Street. Officer Jay Deiana responded but could not locate the syringe.

 

May 29

10:17 a.m. A walk-in requested to speak with an officer about a case of fraud. Officer Stephen Buckley assisted and took a report.

11:37 a.m. A Cross Street resident reported there is a peacock in his shed. The animal control officer responded and the peacock was returned to its owner.

12:28 p.m. A manager from a Main Street store spoke with Sergeant Matthew McNeil about shoplifting.

12:41 p.m. A Grove Street caller reported a person he has a no trespass order against is on his property. Officer Jon Corridan responded and the man was gone upon his arrival.

 

May 30

8:40 a.m. A caller reported two Labs running loose on Tammer Lane. The animal control officer was notified.

9:01 a.m. Officer Stephen Buckley assisted a State trooper with a vehicle stop on West Main Street.

11:02 a.m. A caller reported possible identity theft. Officer Arthur Schofield assisted the caller.

2:00 p.m. Police Chief Edward Lee spoke with a disgruntled taxpayer at the station.

3:41 p.m. Officer Moira McGaffigan took a report of property damage on Pond Street.

10:13 p.m. The Derry New Hampshire Police Department requested a well-being check on a Saddle Hill Road male resident. Sergeant Aaron O’Neil and Officers John Corridan and Brian Sanchioni responded along with the Westborough officers, and the individual was located. An ambulance was requested.

 

May 31

7:46 a.m. Multiple calls were received about a motor vehicle accident with airbag deployment on West Main Street. Officers Stephen Buckley, Ryan Polselli, and Benjamin Stickney responded along with an ambulance. No injuries were reported. A tow truck removed two vehicles, and the roadway was shut down until a fluid spill was cleaned up.

8:08 a.m. Officers Philip Powers and Benjamin Stickney responded to a report of a bus accident on Hayden Rowe Street. No injuries were reported. A report was to follow.

9:22 a.m. A walk-in from Hidden Brick Road reported losing his cell phone and wanted the incident logged.

10:09 a.m. A walk-in spoke with Officer Ryan Polselli about a case of fraud.

10:49 a.m. A caller reported a group of youths set up skateboarding ramps in the parking lot of her South Street business after hours. Officer Stephen Buckley responded and spoke with the reporting person.

12:22 p.m. A caller reported fallen wires and hanging traffic lights on West Main Street. Officers Benjamin Stickney and Stephen Buckley responded and contacted the DPW.

4:32 p.m. A Main Street caller requested assistance with an irate customer. Officers Moira McGaffigan and John Corridan responded and assisted.

10:00 p.m. A Hayden Rowe Street caller reported having an argument with her roommate. Sergeant Aaron O’Neil and Officers Brian Sanchioni and Moira McGaffigan responded and took a report.

 

June 1

2:18 a.m. A West Main Street gas station clerk reported a suspicious vehicle parked in his lot for an extended period of time. Officer Preston Mucciarone responded and spoke to the driver, who said he would get gas and be on his way.

8:27 a.m. A Price Street resident reported a skunk stuck in an animal trap in his backyard. The animal control officer was contacted.

6:16 p.m. An East Street caller reported a neighbor was having a party and there were cars parked on both sides of the street, which was creating a road hazard. Officer Jay Deiana responded and spoke with the homeowner, who was to have guests move their vehicles.

8:42 p.m. Sergeant Matthew McNeil issued a parking citation on Walcott Street.

9:45 p.m. A Cunningham Street caller reported losing her dog and wanted the information logged in case someone found it.

9:48 p.m. A Teresa Road resident reported hearing four gunshots in the area. Officer Jay Deiana responded and found all quiet upon his arrival.

11:33 p.m. A North Mill Street caller reported when she came home, she found her door unlocked, though she locked the door before she left. Officers Brendon Lyver and Ryan Polselli responded and checked the residence and found all in order.

 

June 2

10:32 a.m. A caller in Cambridge reported a suspicious male from Hopkinton was following her. She requested the incident be logged. The caller was advised to call the Cambridge Police Department if she felt like she wa in danger.

11:07 a.m. A Walcott Street resident reported a male party yelling and leaving her residence. Officers John Corridan and Matthew Santoro responded and checked on the caller.

2:46 p.m. An East Main Street resident complained of neighbors playing drums loudly. Officer Moira McGaffigan responded and explained that the neighbors were not in violation of any ordinances.

5:01 p.m. A caller reported a missing 9-year-old swimmer at Sandy Beach, where no lifeguards were on duty. Multiple officers responded along with an ambulance. The boy was located and transported to Milford Regional Medical Center.

5:50 p.m. A Mayhew Street caller complained of noise above her apartment, where it sounded like banging and people moving around furniture. Officer Derek Morton responded and found all quiet upon his arrival.

7:56 p.m. A caller reported a vehicle speeding up and down Exchange Street. Officer Moira McGaffigan responded and found the vehicle parked at the top of the hill in a hazardous location. The driver was advised to move.

 

June 3

4:12 a.m. A Gibbon Road caller reported hearing a wounded animal a few doors down. Officer Brendon Lyver responded and checked the area with a negative find.

7:27 a.m. A walk-in seeking advice about teenagers and social media spoke with Sergeant Scott van Raalten.

10:27 a.m. A Crispwater Way resident reported the sighting of a peacock in the area. The animal control officer responded and returned the bird to its owner on Cross Street.

1:02 p.m. A cease and desist letter was issued to two residents on Hayden Rowe Street. The information was logged.

6:40 p.m. Officer Brian Sanchioni issued multiple parking citations on Hayden Rowe Street.

9:04 p.m. A Stagecoach Way resident reported large bats in her house. The animal control officer was notified.

10:32 p.m. A Constitution Court caller complained of a resident in the unit above him playing drums. Officer Derek Morton responded and nobody answered the door. All was quiet upon his arrival.
