Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo and video of the day.
Elmwood School is celebrating Black History Month with an art project conceived by a substitute teacher and adopted by the entire school of 600 students.
Leading off the Schools Notebook, Hopkinton High School students captured 31 state-level awards in the 2022 Scholastic Writing Awards competition, along with 29 awards in the Scholastic Art Awards competition.
The Hopkinton High School girls ski team has been able to find success on the slopes this winter, with second-place finishes in the team’s early competitions and steady improvement throughout the season.
This week’s edition of the Police Log includes reports of a tree hitting a house and rupturing a gas line, a deer being hit by a vehicle (and having to be put down), and a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident.
