Library closed on Memorial Day weekend
The library will be closed on Saturday, May 28, and Monday, May 30, in recognition of Memorial Day.

Chat ’n’ Chew Book Group
Wednesday, May 25, 12:30-2 p.m.
Instead of assigning a book for all participants to read, each person reviews something they read in the past month. All reviews of the books will be posted to Facebook to share with the Hopkinton reading community. All are welcome. For more information, contact aspeicher@hopkintonma.gov or the library.

Frayed Knot Fiber Arts Circle
Wednesday, May 25, 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Participants in the Frayed Knot Fiber Arts Circle are invited to bring their current project or pattern. This group is open to teens and adults of all skill levels. All fiber arts crafts (knitting, crochet, needlepoint, cross-stitch, needle felting, etc.) are welcome. Meetings are held on the last Wednesday of each month. Anyone who has questions or needs knitting materials should email Jak Miller at jmiller@hopkintonma.gov.

Freedom Team Book Club
Tuesday, May 31, 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Each month, members of the Freedom Team Book Club read a book about bias, discrimination or inequity. Participants are asked to bring their empathy and a willingness to listen. This month’s book is “The Making of Asian America: A History,” by Erika Lee. Copies are available at the front desk, as are bookmarks with the rest of 2022’s book schedule. This event is in-person. Masks are encouraged but not required. Registration is not required, but those who do register will receive a reminder email the day before the event.

Red Cross Blood Drive
Thursday, June 2, 2-7 p.m.

HPLF Touch-a-Truck
Saturday, June 11, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
The Hopkinton Public Library Foundation is hosting the Touch-a-Truck event at the Hopkinton High School parking lot. Service vehicles, hot rods and constructions vehicles will be among those on site. For more information, visit hopkintonpubliclibraryfoundation.org.
