Main Street Corridor Project update: Detour for southbound Hayden Rowe Street traffic at Town Common

by | Sep 11, 2022 | News

As part of the Main Street Corridor Project this week, due to electrical conduit work on Hayden Rowe Street, southbound traffic will be detoured around the Town Common via Ash Street to Park Street and back to Hayden Rowe. Northbound traffic on Hayden Rowe will not be affected.

Other scheduled work this week includes service connections project-wide, Comcast duct bank work between Church Street and the Police Station, conduit installation to connect the Fire Station traffic signals to the Route 135/Route 85 signals, new granite curbs from West Main Street to the Fire Station, and sidewalk work (fine grading, compacting, forming and pouring) between Wood Street and the Fire Station.

Working hours are 7 a.m.-3 p.m. No detours, one-lane closures or road closures are allowed between 7-9 a.m.

This schedule may change due to weather and existing conditions found while performing the planned tasks. For the most up-to-date information, visit the town’s project website at hopkintonmainstreet.com.
