The Hopkinton Garden Club is soliciting applications for its $1,000 scholarship. Preference is given to graduating high school seniors pursuing the fields of horticulture, floriculture, landscape design, forestry, conservation, environmental sciences and related fields. Applicants must be current Hopkinton residents (at least one year).

Applications, due by April 22, may be obtained through the Hopkinton High School Guidance Department, the Joseph Keefe Technical School Guidance Office, and the Hopkinton Garden Club website (hopkintongardenclub.org).

Additionally, two other scholarships are available through Hopkinton Garden Club’s parent organizations. At the state level, The Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts offers 11 scholarships, with applications due March 1. The $1,000 scholarships are available to undergraduate students (including high school seniors who will be freshmen in the fall) and graduate students. At the national level, The National Garden Club offers 45 scholarships, with applications due Feb. 1. The scholarships, worth up to $4500, are available to college juniors, seniors and graduate students. Applications can be found on the respective websites.
