Main Street Corridor Project update: Eastbound detour from Pleasant Street to Grove Street all week

by | Apr 23, 2023 | Business, News

As part of the Main Street Corridor Project this week, the eastbound detour from Pleasant Street to Maple Street to Grove Street will be used from Monday to Friday.

On the east side of the project, crews will work on service connections to buildings between Muffin House Cafe and Hayden Rowe Street. Connections inside buildings will take place at a future date.

On the west side of the project, crews will continue curb and sidewalk work from West Main Street toward the Fire Station, focus on placement of highway signs, and prepare stone wall footing at 2 and 5 West Main Street.

Working hours for the Main Street Corridor Project are 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. No detours, one-lane closures or road closures are allowed from 7-9 a.m.

This schedule may change due to weather and existing conditions found while performing the planned tasks. For the most up-to-date information, visit the town’s project website at hopkintonmainstreet.com.
