Main Street Corridor Project update: Eastbound detours possible this week

by | May 28, 2023 | Business, News

As part of the Main Street Corridor Project this week, there will be no work on Monday (Memorial Day). The eastbound detour from Grove Street to Maple Street to Hayden Rowe Street might be used Tuesday through Friday.

On the east side of the project, workers will continue installation of conduit for site lighting from Muffin House Cafe to Ash Street (work will take place in the excavated sidewalk area). Additionally, crews will raise structures, including catch basins and manholes for electric and communications vaults.

Working hours for the Main Street Corridor Project are 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. No detours, one-lane closures or road closures are allowed from 7-9 a.m.

This schedule may change due to weather and existing conditions found while performing the planned tasks. For the most up-to-date information, visit the town’s project website at hopkintonmainstreet.com.
