Main Street Corridor Project update: Work continues on site lighting, sidewalks

by | Jun 25, 2023 | Business, News

As part of the Main Street Corridor Project this week, workers will continue installation of conduit and bases for site lighting from Muffin House Cafe to Ash Street (work will take place in the excavated sidewalk area). Additionally, crews will work on installation of the granite curb and grade and form (but not pour) sidewalks from Muffin House Cafe to Ash Street.

On the west side of the project, crews will place asphalt in the back end of driveways. Vehicles will be able to enter and exit with minimal disruption.

Working hours for the Main Street Corridor Project are 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. No detours, one-lane closures or road closures are allowed from 7-9 a.m.

This schedule may change due to weather and existing conditions found while performing the planned tasks. For the most up-to-date information, visit the town’s project website at hopkintonmainstreet.com.
