She spent the majority of her career working as a nurse midwife at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, Connecticut. Ginny lived for many years in Southbury, Connecticut, and was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir. Her love of singing lasted all of her life, and in her youth she was proud to sing with the Greater Bostonians. Ginny was an avid artist and excellent cook. She enjoyed being outdoors in her garden and had a true love of animals, especially for the many pet cats she cared for in her life.

A memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 6, at 11 a.m. in St. John’s Church, 40 Temple Street, Worcester. All are welcome. Burial in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer, will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ginny’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester is directing funeral arrangements.
