Winter Weather Policy
The Senior Center is closed to the public when the Hopkinton Public Schools are closed due to inclement weather. Play it safe; watch the news and check for school closings. When in doubt, call the Senior Center or check out the Facebook page for closing updates. Transportation assistance also could be impacted by inclement weather.

Free Exercise Classes
During the month of January, all exercise classes are free at the Senior Center. This is an excellent opportunity to get back on track or to start (and keep) a new year’s resolution. Those interested can check out the Senior Center calendar for regular class schedules or drop by any day during regular business hours to see what classes are being offered.

Meditative Coloring Fridays
Fridays, 9-11 a.m.
Every Friday in January, this group will meet for some relaxing coloring. The Senior Center will provide the pictures and coloring mediums, while participants will provide their coloring expertise. Professional coloring skills are not required.

Falls and Balance Awareness Presentation
Wednesday, Jan. 17, 1 p.m.
Representatives of Hopkinton Physical Therapy will discuss different factors that put people at a higher risk of falling as they age, as well as various ways to help reduce the chances of falling. They also will provide brief falls risk screenings for those who are interested. Light refreshments will be served. Advance registration is requested.

Growing From Seeds
Thursday, Jan. 18, 1 p.m.
Members of the Hopkinton Garden Club will host an exciting and very informative talk about plants and how now is the time to start planning and thinking about gardens. Managing Money and Finances for Caregivers
