Hopkinton Today: Monday, Oct. 7

by | Oct 7, 2024 | Featured: Features, Hopkinton Today

Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

Hopkinton Public Schools Superintendent Carol Cavanaugh announced Friday that residential use of Hopkinton High School’s athletic facilities will be restricted during the regular school day after a swatting incident earlier in the week.

The town’s latest Main Street Corridor Project update released Friday explained that work will continue on both ends of the corridor during the upcoming week, with utility line transfer work occurring on the west end and Eversource continuing work on the transformers.

The Hopkinton Trails Club will hold its next monthly meeting this Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Hopkinton Public Library.

Town meetings tonight include the Sustainable Green Committee (6), Parks & Recreation Commission (6:30) and Planning Board (7).
