Locals recognized for college achievements

Hopkinton’s Brittany Power, a student at Saint Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire, spent part of her winter break participating in a volunteer service trip through the college’s Service and Solidarity Missions Trips Program. Power, a nursing major, co-led a group of 10 students to Salem, West Virginia. There they worked with Nazareth Farm helping those in extreme rural poverty. Work involved both physical labor and community outreach. …

Also at Saint Anselm, Parker Petruney, a junior majoring in finance, was named to the dean’s list.
