POLICE LOG

Jan. 6
4:31 a.m. Officer Jennifer Manning checked on a vehicle parked on Pratt Way and found the owner walking her dog nearby. All was OK.
5:57 a.m. A walk-in reported he hit a deer on School Street, and he was not sure if the deer was deceased. Officer Aline Matos checked the area for the deer, and it was gone.
8:19 a.m. Sgt. Arthur Schofield assisted a disabled motor vehicle on Wood Street.
8:50 a.m. Officer Nicholas Walker completed community policing on Hayden Rowe Street.
3:49 p.m. Sgt. Shannon Beloin made checks of former Center School property on Ash Street.
5:03 p.m. Sgt. Shannon Beloin checked on two vehicles pulled over on Cedar Street. AAA was en route.
6:22 p.m. Sgt. Shannon Beloin responded along with the Fire Department to a report of the inside odor of propane on Glen Road.
9:24 p.m. Officer Kyle Quinzani made checks of Lakeshore Drive property.

Jan. 7
1:01 a.m. Officers Justin Cappuccio and Jennifer Manning responded to a motor vehicle accident involving two cars on Ash Street. The Fire Department and a tow truck were requested. No personal injuries were reported. One person was given a courtesy transport to Milford.
6:49 a.m. Officer Benjamin Vaz came upon a motor vehicle accident on Main Street and spoke with all involved parties and took a crash report.
7:45 a.m. A caller requested a check of Granite Street property. Officers Augusto Diaz and Benjamin Vaz responded and found all secure.
8:38 a.m. Officer Augusto Diaz responded along with the Fire Department to Hayden Rowe Street for a carbon monoxide alarm investigation.
9:16 a.m. A walk-in reported a missing Indian passport, possibly lost in the mail. He was to check with the post office. The incident was logged.
9:26 a.m. The Milford Police Department reported an erratic red Ford headed toward Hopkinton on South Street. Sgt. William Burchard and Officer Benjamin Vaz checked the area with a negative find.
10:39 a.m. Officer Augusto Diaz made checks of Loop Road.
11:21 a.m. Sgt. William Burchard checked on the LNG plant on Wilson Street.
12:10 p.m. A caller reported a man pacing in front of the water towers on Hayden Rowe Street, which he stated seemed suspicious. Officer Augusto Diaz responded and spoke with the man, the school janitor, and all was OK.
12:34 p.m. A Benson Road resident reported an unwanted person was en route to her residence. Sgt. William Burchard and Officer Augusto Diaz responded, spoke with all parties and sent the unwanted person on his way. A report was taken.
12:58 p.m. Officer Augusto Diaz made checks of Marathon School on Hayden Rowe Street.
1:15 p.m. A caller reported he may have lost his credentials in a rental car. He already contacted the rental car company with no results, and he also contacted the credit card company. The incident was logged.
2:07 p.m. Officer Augusto Diaz completed community relations during school dismissal on Hayden Rowe Street.
7:40 p.m. A caller complained of people frequently jaywalking on Main Street and stated it was dangerous. The caller wanted the incidents logged.
9:51 p.m. A Ridge Road caller reported a suspicious white van driving up and down the road. Officer Eva Cann responded and confirmed it was an Amazon driver.

Jan. 8
12:24 a.m. Officer Eva Cann checked on a possibly disabled motor vehicle on South Street. All was OK., and the driver moved along.
12:57 a.m. Officer Eva Cann checked on a vehicle in a West Main Street parking lot and moved the driver along.
7:34 a.m. A Lincoln Street resident reported her 4-year-old son was missing. Multiple officers responded. The child was located at a neighbor’s house. A report was taken.
9:02 a.m. A Grove Street resident reported her vehicle possibly was vandalized over the weekend. It had been towed, and the caller wanted the incident logged for insurance purposes. Officer Matthew LaTour assisted.
9:23 a.m. A walk-in handed in a wallet found on Cedar Street. The owner was notified and picked it up.
11:12 a.m. Officer Benjamin Vaz made checks of Sandy Beach on Lakeshore Drive.
2:08 p.m. An East Street caller reported his vehicle was stolen. Sgt. William Burchard responded and took a report.
3:55 p.m. A motorist reported an erratic operator on Cedar Street. Officer Brian Ziniti caught up with the vehicle and advised the operator to slow down.
4:51 p.m. A caller reported a man unsteady on his feet and walking with a cane on West Main Street in the dark. Sgt. Cody Normandin and Officer Kyle Quinzani checked on the individual, who was just out for a walk.
9:52 p.m. Officer Nicholas Saletnik checked on Pratt Way property.

Jan. 9
2:43 a.m. Officer Eva Cann checked on a motor vehicle parked on Church Street and found that it belonged to cleaners at a building.
8:37 a.m. Officer Nicholas Walker completed community policing at Elmwood School on Elm Street.
12:10 p.m. Sgt. William Burchard and Officers Augusto Diaz, Nicholas Walker and Brian Ziniti completed community relations on Fruit Street.
1:28 p.m. A concerned caller reported kids ice skating on Cedar Street. Sgt. William Burchard checked the ice, which was about 6 inches thick, and spoke with a family of skaters. They subsequently left.
3:08 p.m. A caller reported she was being followed on foot on Main Street. She was instructed to go inside the library until officers arrived. Officers Noah Buentello and Brian Ziniti responded and spoke with the female, who stated she did not see the male anymore. No description or direction of travel was given. Officers checked the area with a negative find.
3:40 p.m. A motorist reported she ran over a dog on Maple Street, and it died. Officer Noah Buentello responded, and the driver and the dog’s owner were talking upon his arrival.
3:52 p.m. A motorist reported a white transit van cut in front of her on West Main Street, and his mirror hit her vehicle. Officer Sean McKeon responded and spoke with the caller. The Upton Police Department stopped the vehicle, and the driver stated the other driver was at fault. His mirror was bent back, but there was no other damage.
5:02 p.m. Officer Brian Ziniti completed community relations at a high school boys basketball game on Hayden Rowe Street.
5:14 p.m. A Lowell Drive resident reported he received a call from a credit card company that seemed real but was not. He did not give any personal information, and no money was taken. He wanted the attempted credit card and ID theft logged.
5:55 p.m. Sgt. Shannon Beloin came across a female involved in a scam involving gift cards on Main Street. She was advised to hang up the phone and not give the gift cards. A report of fraud was taken.
7:06 p.m. Officer Justin Cappuccio assisted a disabled motor vehicle in a bad spot on West Main Street. AAA responded and towed the vehicle.
9:00 p.m. Officer Brian Ziniti checked on the LNG plant on Wilson Street.

Jan. 10
2:11 a.m. Officer Eva Cann checked on a vehicle parked on West Main Street and found an Uber driver. All was OK.
2:23 p.m. An Old Farm Road caller reported a delivery truck damaged his light pole and some of his property. Officer Nicholas Saletnik responded, issued a criminal application to the driver and assisted with paperwork exchange. A report was taken.
3:29 p.m. Sgt. Shannon Beloin and Officers Noah Buentello and Sean McKeon gave a station tour to a father and son.
4:50 p.m. Sgt. Shannon Beloin checked on a vehicle on the side of the road on Parkwood Drive and spoke with someone waiting for an Uber.
5:02 p.m. A caller reported a dog walker let her son’s dogs out on Pond Street, and they were missing. One dog returned, but a female golden retriever was missing. The animal control officer was notified. Officer Sean McKeon responded and reported the dog was found by a resident.
5:03 p.m. Sgt. Shannon Beloin made checks of Reed Park on Parker Point Road.
5:40 p.m. Officer Sean McKeon responded to a parking complaint on Downey Street and found one car in a bad spot. The owner moved it.

Jan. 11
1:14 a.m. Sgt. Shannon Beloin checked on the boat ramp on West Main Street.
2:48 a.m. Officer Eva Cann assisted the Southborough Police Department with the booking of a female prisoner.
8:08 a.m. A caller reported seeing a flash on the power lines and hearing a loud bang on West Main Street. Sgt. Arthur Schofield checked the area and was unable to find anything. Power was on in the area. Eversource was notified.
8:24 a.m. A caller reported the street lights on Lumber Street were completely out. Officer Noah Buentello and Sgt. Arthur Schofield responded and reported power returned and the traffic lights were functioning properly.
8:25 a.m. A caller reported street lights on Cedar Street were completely out. Officer Benjamin Vaz responded and reported power was restored and the lights were back on.
12:16 p.m. Sgt. Arthur Schofield made checks of the LNG plant on Wilson Street.
12:50 p.m. Officer Benjamin Vaz made checks of Loop Road.
3:53 p.m. Officer Matthew LaTour assisted a disabled motor vehicle on Chestnut Street.
7:40 p.m. A concerned passerby reported a possible deer strike on West Main Street. Officer Justin Cappuccio responded, located the vehicle and took a crash report.

Jan. 12
7:45 a.m. A motorist reported items falling out of the truck with an attached trailer that was driving in front of her on Hayden Rowe Street. Officer Noah Buentello checked the area and did not see any debris in the roadway.
8:13 a.m. Officer Noah Buentello made checks of the high school and middle school on Hayden Rowe Street.
11:55 a.m. Sgt. Arthur Schofield assisted a walk-in who had questions about his license.
1:56 p.m. Sgt. Aaron O’Neil assisted a walk-in with paperwork and took an incident report.
4:03 p.m. Officer Matthew LaTour assisted a person on Stoney Brook Road looking for a vehicle identification number verification.
8:01 p.m. A caller reported her daughter was driving on South Street and West Main Street and noticed broken glass in the two left turn lanes. Officer Matthew LaTour checked the area and found no hazards, only road salt.
8:12 p.m. A Chestnut Street resident reported his ex-wife stole money and had not removed her name off their joint accounts. He stated that she has been harassing him at work and other places. The caller requested to speak with an officer. The incident was logged, and an officer was to call him back.
10:32 p.m. Officer Matthew LaTour checked on Pratt Way property.
