Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a video or two to brighten your morning.

Select Board vice chair John Coutinho and 26.2 executive director Tim Kilduff are working to create a memorable Boston Marathon experience for local charity runners.

The Planning Board last night voted on a Commercial Solar Photovoltaic Overlay District map to send to Town Meeting voters, in an attempt to limit commercial ground-mounted solar projects in residential areas and where deforestation is required.

The Select Board meets tonight. Among the items on the agenda, the Board of Health will provide a COVID-19 update, the Select Board will consider the “needs and options available to assist Hopkinton restaurants with exterior seating arrangements necessary to reopen for service to customers on site,” and there will be updates on the FY2021 budget and Town Meeting.

A Hopkinton resident who brings therapy dogs to health care facilities has been making virtual visits during the pandemic.
