A “dedicated member” of the unified track and field team for the past three years, according to coach Chip Collins, Zhang has become a key part of the squad. “This year, she stepped into a leadership role by helping lead team warmups and encouraging her teammates with her positive energy and enthusiasm,” Collins noted. “Jenny is also a talented shot putter whose hard work and commitment earned her a qualification to the unified state championship meet.”
