Baypath Adoptable Animal of the Week: Colby

by | Jul 2, 2026 | Featured, Featured: Features

Adoptable Animal-Colby

Each week, the Independent highlights an animal available for adoption at Baypath Humane Society in Hopkinton. This week’s adoptable animal is 2-month-old Colby.

Here is Baypath’s description of Colby:

“Looking to add a puppy to grow alongside your family? Colby may be your perfect match.

“This social, curious boy loves exploring new places, meeting new people and being part of whatever is going on. Recently, Colby joined us at the Fore Paws Golf Tournament at Hopkinton Country Club, where he spent the day making friends, collecting pets from golfers and taking in all the sights and sounds. Despite the busy environment, he handled everything with ease before curling up for a puppy nap.

“Like any young puppy, Colby is looking for a family ready for training, socialization and all the fun (and occasional chaos!) that comes with puppyhood. He’s eager to learn, loves attention and is ready to grow into an amazing companion.

“If you’re looking for a friendly sidekick to join you on future adventures, learn new things together and become part of the family, Colby can’t wait to meet you.”

For more information on Colby and any of the other available pets at Baypath, email adopt@baypathhumane.org or visit baypathhumane.org/adopt.
