Stephen Wallace
Stephen F. Wallace, 76, passed away unexpectedly on June 19, 2026.
Born in Lowell, Steve spent his childhood and school years in Hopkinton, where he graduated from Hopkinton High School in 1967. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy for four years during the Vietnam War.
Following his military service, Steve worked for more than 25 years at General Motors in Framingham. After retiring, he relocated to Jensen Beach, Florida, where he embraced the coastal lifestyle he loved. While living in Florida, Steve was grateful for the opportunity to care for his elderly parents, a role he fulfilled with compassion and devotion.
Steve was the beloved son of the late Raymond F. Wallace and Theresa H. (Michaud) Wallace. He also was predeceased by sister Patricia M. (Wallace) Spinks and brother-in-law Thomas I. Spinks.
He is survived by sister Marie T. (Wallace) Flannery and husband Eddie; sister Janet R. (Wallace) Martin; nephews Jeff, Paul, Jason, T.J. and Billy; and nieces Cindy, Chrissy and Tricia; as well as nine cherished great-nephews and great-nieces.
The family also would like to extend special thanks and recognition to Steve’s dear friends in Florida — Tali, Kathleen, Sam and Ilya — for the friendship, kindness and support.
Steve had a lifelong love of boating and the ocean. He treasured spending time with family and friends and will be remembered as a kind, gentle soul whose warmth touched everyone who knew him.
Services will be private.
In honor of Steve’s memory, donations may be made to an organization dedicated to preventing elder abuse or supporting elder abuse awareness.
