Each week, the Independent highlights an animal available for adoption at Baypath Humane Society in Hopkinton. This week’s adoptable animal is 3-year-old Twister and 5-month-old Gatsby.

Here is Baypath’s description of Twister and Gatsby:

“Meet Twister and Gatsby, a special feline duo hoping to find a forever home together.

“Twister is an incredibly affectionate cat with a special love for kittens. In his foster home, he has been a wonderful companion to the kittens he has met, happily grooming, snuggling and playing with them. He has formed an especially sweet bond with Gatsby, and we would love to see these two stay together!

“Twister is just as loving with people. He enjoys curling up in laps, following his foster family around the house and being part of whatever they are doing. He is also smart, playful and fascinated by bubbles!

“While Twister has so much love to give, adjusting to new environments can be overwhelming for him. He will need a patient adopter who can give him time to settle in and feel comfortable. Once he feels secure, his affectionate and playful personality truly shines.

“Gatsby is an absolute lovebug who gets along wonderfully with just about everyone he meets! This gentle, affectionate kitten is always happy to curl up in a lap for quality cuddle time. When he is not soaking up attention, he is busy enjoying all the fun, curiosity and adventure that come with being a kitten.

“These two have developed a wonderful friendship, and we’re hoping their next chapter will be together! To help make that happen, Twister’s adoption fee is waived when adopted with Gatsby!”
