For more information on any of the following programs or other activities at the library, visit hopkintonlibrary.org. The library also can be found on Facebook, @hopkintonlibrary, and on Twitter, @HopkintonPLMA.

Quick-Pick Bundles
The library is offering a “quick-pick bundle” of children and teen books. Need some books but don’t have a specific title in mind? Fill out a short form for children’s books at hopkintonlibrary.org/children.asp and for teen books at hopkintonlibrary.org/teens.asp and the librarians will put together a bundle of books.

Expanded Hours
The library returns book drop is open from 9:30 a.m. on Monday morning through 4:30 p.m. Friday. It will be locked Saturday and Sunday. Do not leave materials if the book drop is locked.

Museum Passes
The library is offering passes for a select group of destination spots in the local area. Visit hopkintonlibrary.org/museums2.asp to reserve a pass. Note: All venues require ticketed/timed entry as well as the library pass. Read the instructions for the venue when reserving a pass.

Virtual Dungeons and Dragons
Thursdays in August, 6 p.m.
The Hopkinton Public Library staff will lead participants through a mythic quest of Dungeons and Dragons (fifth edition) online. Participants should be ages 12-plus. To participate, register online by going to the library’s website calendar.

Chat ’n’ Chew Book Club
Wednesday, Aug. 19, 12:30-1:30 p.m.
The Chat ’n’ Chew book group meets virtually for chatting about books during lunch. Instead of assigning a book for all participants to read, each person reviews something they read during the month. Fill out our registration form on the library’s website calendar or check the library’s Facebook events page for more information.

Diversity Book Club
Tuesday, Aug. 25, 7-9 p.m.
The book being discussed at this Zoom meeting will be “Biased: Uncovering the Hidden Prejudice That Shapes What We See, Think, and Do,” by Jennifer L. Eberhardt, Ph.D. Sign up at the library website calendar.

Mythical Creature Bingo
Thursday, Aug. 20, 11-11:45 a.m.
Children’s librarian Mrs. C will host a small-group bingo session in which rising third-, fourth- and fifth-graders will learn about mythical creatures and their connection to literature around the world. Pre-registration is required, starting one week prior to the event at the library website.
