Parks & Rec relocates to Walcott Street building, will offer fall programs

by | Aug 23, 2020 | News

The Hopkinton Parks & Recreation Department has relocated its offices to the town’s recently acquired building at 6 Walcott St., effective Monday (Aug. 24).

The land on which the building sits, located behind Town Hall, was purchased for the purpose of increasing downtown parking options.

In a press release, Parks & Rec cautioned that communication might be slower this week as the department settles into its new location.

Parks & Rec also announced that, following discussions with the Hopkinton Board of Health, there will be some in-person classes this fall, with social distancing restrictions in place. Classes include the popular Home Alone Safety course and Business Sharks. Additional online classes will be offered as well. Check the Parks & Rec website for more information.
