ARRESTS

November 5
1:32 a.m. Officer Robert Ekross checked on a motor vehicle on Hayden Rowe Street and performed field sobriety tests on the driver. Officers Tyler Brabham and Jessica Ferreira responded with a portable breath test and subsequently arrested a 34-year-old female from Milford, and charged her with OUI liquor.

November 6
11:56 p.m. A caller reported a vehicle struck a stone wall on Spring Street and airbags deployed. Sergeant William Burchard and Officers Jessica Ferreira and Stephen Buckley responded along with an ambulance. Three occupants were evaluated. A tow truck was requested. An 18-year-old male from Hopkinton was arrested and charged with OUI liquor, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and failure to drive in right lane.

November 3
1:54 a.m. Officer Tyler Brabham located a vehicle with slight damage in the roadway of Legacy Farms North. Nobody was around it. Officer Brabham contacted the owner, who stated the vehicle was disabled and a tow was en route.
5:20 a.m. Sergeant Arthur Schofield and Officer Stephen Buckley transported ballots on Main Street.
5:58 a.m. A caller reported a vehicle hit a deer on Hayden Rowe Street and minor damage was incurred. Officer Tyler Brabham responded and reported the operator did not remain on scene.
8:57 a.m. A walk-in reported unemployment fraud and wanted it logged.
9:09 a.m. Officer Jay Deiana assisted a person by standing by while the person removed some belongings from a Granite Street residence.
9:11 a.m. A caller reported someone found a dog running loose on Hayden Rowe Street. Officer Moira McGaffigan responded and reported the dog was returned to its owner.
9:33 a.m. A walk-in reported unemployment fraud and wanted it logged.
9:43 a.m. A detail officer on Hayden Rowe Street reported a flag flew up and subsequently damaged a vehicle. Officer Moira McGaffigan responded and took a report.
10:51 a.m. A caller reported unemployment fraud and wanted it logged.
11:18 a.m. Officer Moira McGaffigan completed community policing on Mayhew Street.
11:21 a.m. Officer Benjamin Stickney checked on a suspicious person on Hayden Rowe Street. All was OK.
12:18 p.m. A caller reported unemployment fraud and wanted it logged.
12:28 p.m. A caller reported unemployment fraud and wanted it logged.
12:34 p.m. A caller reported unemployment fraud and wanted it logged.
1:13 p.m. A South Street caller reported a case of fraud. Officer Philip Powers spoke with the caller and assisted.
3:40 p.m. An Emma Drive resident reported unemployment fraud and wanted it logged.

November 4
5:18 a.m. A caller reported seeing flames on Wilson Street in the direction of the LNG plant. Officer Tyler Brabham responded and confirmed it was the LNG plant.
7:49 a.m. A caller reported unemployment fraud and wanted it logged.
8:32 a.m. A Rocky Woods Road caller reported unemployment fraud and wanted it logged.
11:22 a.m. A Blackthorne Circle resident reported a National Grid scam and wanted to notify other citizens of it.
11:44 a.m. A caller reported a Social Security scam and wanted it logged.
12:23 p.m. A Colella Farm Road caller reported unemployment fraud and wanted it logged.
1:17 p.m. A caller reported a low-hanging wire on Winter Street. Officer Brendon Lyver responded and contacted Verizon.
2:42 p.m. A walk-in from Nazneen Circle reported unemployment fraud and wanted it logged.
3:58 p.m. A Hawthorne Road walk-in requested assistance with a civil dispute. Officer Derek Morton assisted.
5:37 p.m. A Clinton Street caller reported unemployment fraud and wanted it logged.
6:06 p.m. A School Street caller reported unemployment fraud and wanted it logged.
7:03 p.m. A Walcott Valley Drive caller reported a scam phone call from the district attorney and wanted the incident logged.
9:12 p.m. A caller reported an intoxicated person on Lumber Street who needed assistance finding his residence. Officers Preston Mucciarone and Derek Morton responded and returned the person to Golden Pond.

November 5
7:30 a.m. A motorist reported a turkey was hit on Elm Street. Officer Brendon Lyver responded along with the DPW. The bird was removed from the roadway.
7:36 a.m. Officer Cody Normandin provided a courtesy transport to an Apple Tree Hill resident from Hayden Rowe Street.
8:40 a.m. Sergeant Timothy Brennan notified the DPW of a broken red street light on Lumber Street Extension.
9:15 a.m. A caller reported a needle on the ground on Main Street. Officers Cody Normandin and Matthew Santoro responded and removed the needle.
9:48 a.m. A caller complained of a speeding vehicle in the area that parked on Wild Road. Officers Cody Normandin and Matthew Santoro responded and spoke with the operator.
10:24 a.m. A walk-in reported a case of fraud. Officer Cody Normandin responded and took a report.
10:47 a.m. A Penny Meadow Lane resident reported unemployment fraud and wanted it logged.
11:39 a.m. A caller reported unemployment fraud and wanted it logged.
12:41 p.m. A caller reported unemployment fraud and wanted it logged.
1:02 p.m. A caller reported a motor vehicle accident on Main Street. No injuries were reported. Officer Moira McGaffigan responded and took a report.
2:44 p.m. A Chestnut Street caller reported a truck went over his lawn. Officer Derek Morton responded and reported it looked like the damage was from a plow truck.
3:22 p.m. An Overlook Road caller reported unemployment fraud and wanted it logged.
3:41 p.m. A caller spoke with Officer Philip Powers about a case of fraud.
3:44 p.m. A College Street resident reported unemployment fraud and wanted it logged.
4:01 p.m. Officer Preston Mucciarone assisted a disabled motor vehicle on Hayden Rowe Street and helped move it off the roadway.
4:02 p.m. A caller requested a check of a vehicle parked by the water pump on Alprilla Farm Road. Officer Philip Powers responded and checked on the vehicle, which belonged to a person who was bow hunting in the area. All was OK.
4:04 p.m. A caller requested to speak with an officer about cyberbullying. Officer Philip Powers assisted and directed the person to district court.
5:09 p.m. A Maple Street resident reported unemployment fraud and wanted it logged.
7:27 p.m. An Ash Street caller reported unemployment fraud and wanted it logged.
7:44 p.m. A person turned in a broken iPad that was found on West Main Street.

November 6
12:06 a.m. Officer Robert Ekross found a dead raccoon in the roadway of East Main Street and notified the DPW.
7:52 a.m. A walk-in from Bull Moose Run reported unemployment fraud and wanted it logged.
9:02 a.m. A caller reported he lost his keys and wanted it logged.
9:07 a.m. A Constitution Court caller reported she sold several items on Facebook Marketplace that she mailed and were received by the customer. The customer never paid for the items and ceased all communication. Officers Matthew Santoro and Cody Normandin responded and took a report.
9:36 a.m. A Hayden Rowe Street caller reported he lost his iPhone and wanted it logged.
10:16 a.m. A caller complained of a vehicle without a placard parked in a handicap spot on West Main Street. Officers Matthew Santoro and Cody Normandin responded. The vehicle was gone upon their arrival.
11:51 a.m. A Jordan Road caller reported unemployment fraud and wanted it logged.
1:07 A South Mill Street resident requested an officer to check in with hunters in the area to make sure they understood the regulations of hunting close to residential neighborhoods. Officer Jay Deiana responded and checked the area with a negative find.
1:43 p.m. A passerby reported a disabled motor vehicle on Ramp 4 of Interstate 495. Officers Matthew Santoro and Cody Normandin responded and stood by for the tow truck to arrive. The State Police were notified.
1:59 p.m. A caller reported unemployment fraud and wanted it logged.
4:04 p.m. A Connelly Hill Road resident reported unemployment fraud and wanted it logged.
4:33 p.m. A Wayside Drive caller reported unemployment fraud and wanted it logged.
4:38 p.m. The Ashland Police Department requested assistance locating a suicidal female whose phone pinged to Cobblers Way. Sergeant Aaron O’Neil and Officers Brian Sanchioni, Benjamin Stickney and Robert Ekross responded and searched the area with a negative find.
5:45 p.m. A caller reported a suspicious vehicle parked in an Elm Street parking lot for a long period of time. Officer Brian Sanchioni responded and spoke with the person in the car, who was using the lights to read his book. All was OK.
6:15 p.m. A Glen Road resident reported unemployment fraud and wanted it logged.
6:39 p.m. An East Street resident reported a raccoon was under his deck. The animal control officer was contacted.
10:11 p.m. Officer Benjamin Stickney removed youths from Hayden Rowe Street.

November 7
4:04 p.m. A caller on West Main Street reported a dispute with a customer about coffee. Officer Jessica Ferreira responded and the customer had already left. All was OK.
9:05 a.m. A caller reported the unauthorized use of his heavy equipment on Legacy Farms North. Officer Jay Deiana responded and reported a misunderstanding. A report was to follow.
1:01 p.m. Officer Brian Sanchioni assisted a disabled motor vehicle on West Main Street with a battery jump.
5:06 p.m. A caller complained of vehicles speeding on Ash Street notably between noon and 3 p.m. daily. Officer Robert Ekross spoke to the caller.
5:35 p.m. Officer Brian Sanchioni completed K-9 deployment on Constitution Court.
6:01 p.m. A motorist reported he hit a deer on Wood Street. No personal injuries were reported. Officer Benjamin Stickney responded and assisted.
7:59 p.m. A Morse Lane caller reported a loud bang in the area. Officer Robert Ekross responded and checked the area with a negative find.
9:02 p.m. Officer Robert Ekross reported fireworks being set off in the area of Hayden Rowe Street. Sergeant Aaron O’Neil and Officers Benjamin Stickney and Robert Ekross responded and checked the area with a negative find.

November 8
3:29 a.m. A caller reported a group of youths causing a disturbance on Ash Street and possibly destroying property. Sergeant William Burchard and Officers Jessica Ferreira and Stephen Buckley responded and checked the area with a negative find.
9:16 a.m. A Maple Street caller reported the odor of natural gas. Officer Moira McGaffigan responded along with the Fire Department, and a strong odor was detected. Eversource was contacted and responded.
1:03 p.m. A walk-in reported his real estate sign was stolen from the Town Common. Officer Moira McGaffigan logged the incident. The individual returned a short time later and reported the sign was removed by a town department, as he did not have permission to place the sign on the town common.
1:29 p.m. An Ash Street caller reported a neighbor blew leaves onto the sidewalk and left them there. Officer Benjamin Stickney responded and spoke with a person who was actively removing the leaves.
2:32 p.m. Sergeant Aaron O’Neil checked on a bicyclist who looked to be in distress on East Main Street. All was OK.
2:46 p.m. A Spring Street resident complained about a neighbor shooting firearms onto his property. Officer Jay Deiana responded and took a report.
4:44 p.m. A caller reported a large number of vehicles in a Hayden Rowe Street parking lot in regards to a violation of the governor’s orders. Sergeant William Burchard responded and checked the parking lot and took a report. The caller also was referred to the Board of Health.
6:05 p.m. A caller reported unemployment fraud and wanted the incident logged.
10:04 p.m. Officer Derek Morton found an active fire pit on the patio of Pan Thai on Main Street and extinguished it.

November 9
8:06 a.m. Sergeant Aaron O’Neil spoke with the DPW about a suspicious incident and took a report.
10:03 a.m. A Highcroft Way caller reported a case of fraud. Officer Benjamin Stickney took a report.
10:10 a.m. A caller reported a dog bite that occurred on Trevor Lane. The animal control officer was notified and was to handle the incident.
11:18 a.m. A Greenwood Road caller reported a scam phone call and wanted it logged.
11:23 a.m. A Claflin Avenue resident reported unemployment fraud and wanted it logged.
11:26 a.m. A Hayden Rowe Street caller reported unemployment fraud and wanted it logged.
