Ann Ethier

Ann E. Ethier, 85, of Yarmouth and formerly of Hopkinton and Holliston, passed away at Maplewood at Mayflower in West Yarmouth on Oct. 24. Born in Somerville, she was the daughter of the late Lucy (Ladd) and Arthur W. Coverly. She was the wife of the late Ronald Ethier.

Ann was a 1955 graduate of Holliston High School. She married her husband, Ronald, in 1968 at Saint Mary’s Church in Holliston. She had been a resident of Holliston, then Hopkinton, and spent her last several years in Yarmouth. She enjoyed taking senior trips with the Hopkinton Senior Center. She was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Pius Church in Yarmouth, was a member of the Red Hat Club and enjoyed reading.

Ann is survived by her siblings, Arthur Coverly Jr. and his wife, Carol, of Southport, North Caroline, Estelle Gaudette of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, and Gloria Coverly of The Villages, Florida. She was predeceased by her sister, Grace Haracles.

Funeral arrangements are being held privately and are under the care of the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston.
