Annette was a 1953 graduate of Our Lady’s High School in Newton. She enjoyed playing cards, bowling, doing crossword puzzles and reading true crime mysteries. Most of all, she was a loving mother, Memere, and friend who will be greatly missed.

Annette is survived by her children, Michael (Laura) McLaughlin of Mendon, Paul (Cathy) McLaughlin of Hopkinton, and Patricia (David Drinkwater) Johnson of Whitinsville. She also is survived by her sisters, Vivian Akillian of Marlborough and Lorraine Malcolm of Mashpee; six grandchildren, Marie McLaughlin, Nicole and Grace McLaughlin, and Cody, James and Daniel Johnson; three great-grandchildren, Ronin, Bodhi and Delaney, and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by son John M. McLaughlin, grandson Michael P. McLaughlin, former husbands Edward Brendan McLaughlin and Bertram Lockhart, as well as brothers Paul Cormier and Raymond Cormier, and sister Jeanne Butler.

The family would like to extend their sincerest thanks to all the loving and supportive staff at Advinia Care in Northbridge over the last six years.

Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Annette’s life at Chesmore Funeral Home in Hopkinton on Friday, May 22, at 11 a.m. A private graveside service will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to your local library in Annette’s memory.
