Another Hopkinton resident reported to have died of COVID-19

According to an obituary from Chesmore Funeral Home submitted Saturday, another Hopkinton resident has died due to COVID-19.

Joseph Jesensky, 73, passed away April 22 at Milford Regional Hospital following a short battle with COVID-19, the obituary states. A native of Czechoslovakia, Mr. Jesensky was a resident of Hopkinton for 42 years.

According to the latest statistics on Hopkinton’s Community Impact Dashboard, as of Saturday the town has had 86 confirmed cases of COVID-19, with 68 active, 17 recovered and one death.
