Arrests/Police Log, Dec. 13 edition

ARRESTS

December 6
6:01 p.m. Officer Brennan Grimley conducted a motor vehicle stop on Prestwick Drive and requested backup and a portable breathalyzer. Officers Shannon Beloin and Brian Ziniti responded, and a 33-year-old from Framingham was arrested and charged with failure to stop/yield and OUI drugs.

6:35 p.m. Multiple callers reported an erratic operator on Grove Street driving all over the road and over the sidewalk. Officer Matthew LaTour and Sergeant William Burchard responded and subsequently arrested a 54-year-old Colella Farm Road resident and charged her with negligent operation of motor vehicle and OUI liquor.

December 5
12:51 a.m. Officer Matthew Santoro made property checks of all the schools on Hayden Rowe Street.
1:33 a.m. Officer Nicholas Walker made checks of businesses on Wood Street.
4:17 a.m. A caller reported a deceased deer in the roadway on Wilson Street. Sergeant William Burchard and Officers Matthew Santoro and Nicholas Walker responded and removed the animal.
10:18 a.m. A walk-in spoke with Officer Cody Normandin and reported a case of fraud.
10:34 a.m. Officer Cody Normandin took a report of fraud on Main Street. No financial loss was reported in the incident.
2:39 p.m. A caller who previously called about being scammed out of $10,000 reported she spoke to the Medfield Police Department, as the crime occurred in Medfield. She called to ask if Hopkinton could do anything to assist her. Officer Cody Normandin spoke with her.
3:28 p.m. Multiple callers reported a vehicle struck a deer on Cedar Street and it was injured. Officer Matthew LaTour responded and took a crash report. The deer ran off into the woods.
4:03 p.m. A walk-in reported fraud. Officer Shannon Beloin took a report and also referred the person to the Marlborough Police Department.
4:40 p.m. A walk-in reported a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident on Main Street. The reporting person provided a license plate number. Officer Shannon Beloin assisted and took a report.
4:43 p.m. Several callers reported a disabled motor vehicle in a hazardous spot on Cedar Street. Officer Matthew LaTour responded, contacted a tow and stood by while the vehicle was removed.
7:39 p.m. A caller reported a female got out of her car on West Main Street, possibly in pain. A male party was with her. Sergeant William Burchard and Officers Shannon Beloin, Brennan Grimley and Brian Ziniti responded and checked the area with a negative find.
9:37 p.m. The Upton Police Department reported a vehicle operating at 10-15 mph and crossing over the center line on West Main Street. Officer Brennan Grimley responded and checked the area with a negative find.

December 6
3:37 a.m. Sergeant Arthur Schofield checked on South Street property.
10:03 a.m. A walk-in reported a missing person. Officer Tyler Staback took a report and was to follow up.
2:00 p.m. The Milford Police Department requested assistance searching for a vehicle. Sergeant Matthew McNeil located the vehicle on Kimball Road.
4:06 p.m. A Holt Street resident requested an officer to speak with his daughter about the repercussions of stealing. Officer Brennan Grimley assisted and took a report.
5:17 p.m. Officer Matthew LaTour made checks of the Fruit Street fields.
9:46 p.m. A Summit Way caller complained of an out-of-state vehicle parked in front of her house all day. Sergeant William Burchard responded. The vehicle was gone upon his arrival.
11:58 p.m. Officer Nicholas Walker checked on a vehicle parked on West Main Street and spoke with the occupants. All was OK.

December 7
1:22 a.m. Officer Nicholas Walker checked on Constitution Court property.
8:29 a.m. A caller reported a dog barking for several hours on Mount Auburn Street. Officers Shannon Beloin and Brian Ziniti responded and advised the homeowner of the complaint, and she was to contact her cousin to try to mitigate the situation.
9:01 a.m. A motorist reported an unknown vehicle hit her mirror on Lumber Street. Sergeant Matthew McNeil responded and took a report.
9:32 a.m. Officers Shannon Beloin and Brian Ziniti removed a dead animal from the roadway on Legacy Farms North.
9:48 a.m. Officers Shannon Beloin and Brian Ziniti made checks of the LNG plant on Wilson Street.
10:16 a.m. Officers Shannon Beloina and Brian Ziniti made checks of the former Center School property on Ash Street.
1:33 p.m. A caller reported a case of fraud. Officer Shannon Beloin assisted and took a report.
4:59 p.m. A Legacy Farms North resident reported the outside odor of natural gas. Sergeant Matthew McNeil and Officer Matthew LaTour responded along with the Fire Department to investigate.
5:30 p.m. Officer Brennan Grimley removed a dead animal from the roadway on Equestrian Drive and left a message for the DPW for pickup.
6:03 p.m. Sergeant Matthew McNeil and Officer Matthew McNeil completed community policing on Main Street.
9:33 p.m. A caller on West Main Street reported his coworker was screaming and yelling at him. Sergeants Aaron O’Neil and Matthew McNeil and Officer Brennan Grimley responded to the disturbance, spoke to both parties and reported it was a verbal argument only.

December 8
3:24 a.m. Sergeant Arthur Schofield issued  a winter parking ban violation warning on Autumn Ridge Road.
3:31 a.m. Sergeant Arthur Schofield issued a winter parking ban violation warning on Crispwater Way.
3:41 a.m. Sergeant Arthur Schofield came across a vehicle with its trunk open on Sweetwater Way and closed it.
2:39 p.m. A caller reported finding a loaded handgun on Wood Street property. Officer Shannon Beloin responded and took possession of the gun.
4:02 p.m. A motorist reported a white dog in the middle of the roadway on Winter Street, blocking traffic. Officer Matthew LaTour responded. The dog was gone upon his arrival.
7:31 p.m. Officer Nicholas Saletnik assisted the Fire Department with an investigation of an inside odor of natural gas on Chamberlain Street.
9:30 p.m. Officer Cody Normandin assisted with setting up a perimeter on West Main Street during an attempted motor vehicle theft.
11:59 p.m. A caller reported his brother’s dog was hit by a car on Grove Street, and the vehicle left the scene. Sergeant Arthur Schofield and Officers Noah Buentello and Cody Normandin responded to assist, and the caller took the dog to Tufts for care.

December 9
1:15 a.m. Officer Noah Buentello made checks of EMC Park on Hayden Rowe Street and Loop Road.
10:24 a.m. A caller reported an erratic operator on Cedar Street. Officer Sean McKeon responded. The vehicle was gone upon his arrival.
1:00 p.m. Officers Sean McKeon and Shannon Beloin completed community relations at a special event at the Senior Center on Mayhew Street.
1:57 p.m. A West Main Street business employee reported someone attempted to purchase multiple phones with various fake IDs. Officers Nicholas Saletnik, Shannon Beloin and Sean McKeon responded and took a report.
2:41 p.m. A walk-in reported identity theft. Officer Cody Normandin assisted and took a report of fraud.
3:35 p.m. A Hazel Road caller reported construction being done on his property. Officer Tyler Staback responded and reported it was a neighbor blowing leaves onto his property. He spoke to the neighbor, and all was set.
3:41 p.m. The Mansfield Police Department requested an officer to leave a message for a Jamie Lane resident. Sergeant Aaron O’Neil delivered the message.
4:18 p.m. A caller reported while he was out running on South Street, two dogs aggressively ran toward him, and the owner yelled at him. The caller wanted the incident logged.
8:22 p.m. A motorist on Cedar Street reported a branch fell down on his vehicle and possibly damaged the mirror. Officer Tyler Staback responded and took a report.
9:15 p.m. Officer Cody Normandin issued a verbal warning to a motorist for a one-way violation on West Main Street.
9:57 p.m. A Connelly Hill Road caller reported doors at the house were open that should not be open, and nobody should be home. The caller requested a check of the home. Sergeant Aaron O’Neil and Officers Tyler Staback, Nicholas Walker and Cody Normandin responded and checked the house.

December 10
12:54 a.m. Officer  Nicholas Walker made checks of Constitution Court.
1:45 a.m. Sergeant William Burchard checked on a person in a vehicle on Main Street who was looking for a gas station.
8:58 a.m. A walk-in reported fraud. Officer Tyler Staback assisted and took a report.
10:37 a.m. A walk-in reported her license and debit card were stolen from her car the previous day. Officer Tyler Staback took a report.
11:01 a.m. Officer Sean McKeon made checks of the LNG plant on Wilson Street.
6:53 p.m. A Priscilla Drive resident reported receiving threats over the phone. A report was taken.
7:59 p.m. A Wood Street caller reported a neighbor cut down his trees. Officer Robert Ekross responded and took a report.
8:21 p.m. A caller complained of vehicles speeding up and down Lakeshore Drive. Officer Cody Normandin responded and checked the area with a negative find.
8:28 p.m. A caller reported a tree fell on wires on Cole Drive. Officer Robert Ekross responded and notified Eversource.
9:52 p.m. Officers Cody Normandin and Robert Ekross removed fallen wires on DJ Murphy Lane.
9:55 p.m. Officer Brennan Grimley cleaned debris from the roadway on Main Street and left a message for the DPW.

December 11
1:08 a.m. Officer Noah Buentello made checks of Elm Street property.
1:51 a.m. On Parkwood Drive, Officers Brennan Grimley and Nicholas Walker reported a truck with its lights and hazards on. They spoke with the operator, and all was OK.
7:06 a.m. A caller reported flooding in the roadway on Cedar Street. The DPW was advised.
9:53 a.m. An Everett Circle resident reported his gate possibly was vandalized. Officer Nicholas Saletnik responded and reported the damage appears to have been from the storm and not vandalism.
11:08 a.m. A caller reported a deceased cat on the side of the road on Legacy Farms North. The animal control officer was notified.
12:09 p.m. A caller reported his wife struck an owl with her car, and she was pulling into the station for assistance. Sergeant Matthew McNeil pulled out a hawk, which was lodged in the grille of the car.
4:28 p.m. An employee from Angel’s dropped off a wallet left behind at the shop.
6:51 p.m. Officer Brennan Grimley checked on Sandy Beach on Lakeshore Drive.
8:30 p.m. A Chamberlain Street resident reported receiving threats. Officer Matthew LaTour spoke with the caller and took a report.
