ARRESTS

May 12
9:57 p.m. On Walcott Street, Officers Kyle Quinzani and Justin Cappuccio arrested a 19-year-old from Bishop Street in Framingham and charged him with speeding in violation of special regulation and operation of motor vehicle with license suspended for OUI.

May 15
1:02 p.m. Sgt. William Burchard and Officer Nicholas Saletnik arrested a 52-year-old on a default warrant and also charged him with OUI liquor.

May 12
1:54 a.m. Officer Jennifer Manning made checks of Frostpane Lane property.
3:38 a.m. Officer Jennifer Manning checked on a vehicle in a Main Street parking lot and found an Uber driver inside. All was OK.
10:18 a.m. A caller reported suspicious activity on East Main Street where it appeared someone was trying to pry open a window of a white work van in the driveway. Officers Noah Buentello and Jennifer Manning responded and reported it was just a misunderstanding.
11:01 a.m. A walk-in from Lakeshore Drive reported identity theft. Officer Nicholas Walker assisted and took a report.
11:13 a.m. Multiple callers reported a vehicle struck a pole on Cedar Street. Officers Justin Cappuccio and Nicholas Walker responded along with the Fire Department. A tow truck removed the vehicle. No personal injuries were reported.
11:15 a.m. Sgt. Matthew Santoro took a report of an assault on Hayden Rowe Street.
1:29 p.m. A Hayden Rowe Street caller requested to speak with an officer about harassment. Officer Justin Cappuccio called her back and took a report.
2:44 p.m. A caller reported a lost wallet. His AirTag was showing that the wallet was on the side of Interstate 495. The incident was logged. The caller was to contact the State Police as well.
3:59 p.m. A passerby reported a black SUV without a placard parked in a handicap spot on Main Street. Officer Justin Cappuccio responded and reported the black SUV had a placard in it.
5:29 p.m. A caller reported a dead owl in the roadway on West Main Street. Sgt. Shannon Beloin responded, found a dead turkey and moved it from the road to the median.
5:55 p.m. A caller reported a person was texting while driving on Main Street and was unable to maintain a lane. Sgt. Shannon Beloin caught up with the vehicle and advised the driver of the complaint.
6:19 p.m. A walk-in handed in a wallet found at the high school on Hayden Rowe Street. Two fake IDs were found and confiscated by Sgt. Shannon Beloin. A report was to follow.
6:23 p.m. A caller reported a hit-and-run motor vehicle crash on Chestnut Street. Officers Justin Cappuccio and Kyle Quinzani responded and took a report.
7:01 p.m. A caller reported suspicious activity on East Main Street. Officer Justin Cappuccio checked the area and found all OK.
7:26 p.m. A caller complained of someone operating a dirt bike on the roadway of Ash Street. Officer Justin Cappuccio responded, and the dirt bike was gone upon his arrival.

May 13
9:25 a.m. A motorist reported several ducks were hit on Interstate 495. The State Police were notified and responded.
9:47 a.m. A library employee on Main Street reported a possibly abandoned bicycle on library property. Officer Benjamin Vaz responded and confirmed the bicycle was in the public bike rack.
9:52 a.m. Officer Benjamin Vaz made checks of the LNG plant on Wilson Street.
10:53 a.m. A caller reported a vehicle sped up as if to hit her as she was leaving her driveway on Spring Street. Officer Justin Cappuccio responded and left a message for the operator. The caller wanted the incident logged.
12:43 p.m. A caller reported two dogs running in and out of the roadway on Spring Street. Sgt. William Burchard responded along with the animal control officer.
12:46 p.m. Officers Justin Cappuccio and Benjamin Vaz responded to a motor vehicle crash on Lumber Street. One person refused medical attention. A report was taken.
2:15 p.m. A walk-in from Highcroft Way reported fraud. Officer Benjamin Vaz assisted and took a report.
2:47 p.m. A Pleasant Street resident reported a suspicious incident after a couple opened her front door and left. Officer Benjamin Vaz responded and spoke with the reporting person.
3:50 p.m.  A caller spoke with Officer Nicholas Saletnik about a citizen complaint.
3:53 p.m. A caller complained of a landscape truck taking up a lane of travel on Wood Street. Officer Nicholas Saletnik responded and advised the landscapers to move the truck into the driveway.
4:51 p.m. A Cedar Street caller reported her back window was broken and her purse was stolen. Sgt. Cody Normandin responded and checked the parking lot.
4:59 p.m. Officer Nicholas Saletnik checked on a motor vehicle on West Main Street and gave the driver a verbal warning for an expired registration.
6:34 p.m. A Hoyt Way resident reported that between midnight and 2 a.m., she heard people outside her residence. Later in the morning, she found empty alcohol beverage containers in the area. The caller requested checks of the area. The incident was logged.
7:47 p.m. A Lincoln Street caller reported a suspicious motor vehicle located by a construction site. Sgt. Cody Normandin and Officer Nicholas Saletnik checked the vehicle and found that it belonged to a guest at a nearby residence.
8:14 p.m. A Palomino Drive resident reported hearing a loud noise in the area. Upon checking the area, she reported a window was open. Sgt. Cody Normandin and Officer Nicholas Saletnik responded and checked inside and outside. All was OK.
9:30 p.m. Officer Nicholas Saletnik made checks of Pratt Way and found multiple cars in the parking lot and juveniles playing soccer on the field.

May 14
12:41 a.m. Officer Jennifer Manning made checks of Hoyt Way property.
1:11 a.m. Officer Eva Cann made checks of Lakeshore Drive property.
8:05 a.m. Officer Augusto Diaz made checks of the high school on Hayden Rowe Street.
11:21 a.m. Officer Augusto Diaz made checks of Marathon School on Hayden Rowe Street.
12:17 p.m. Officer Augusto Diaz responded to a motor vehicle crash on West Main Street and took a report.
12:37 p.m. The building property manager on Revolutionary Way reported illegal dumping. Officer Benjamin Vaz responded, spoke with him and took a report.
1:18 p.m. Officer Augusto Diaz responded to a motor vehicle crash on Lakeshore Drive. No personal injuries were reported.
1:35 p.m. A Locust Lane resident reported youths dumped leaves and debris on his lawn. Sgt. William Burchard responded and took a report.
2:33 p.m. A caller reported her parked vehicle was hit at the middle school on Hayden Rowe Street. Sgt. Matthew Santoro responded and took a report.
2:35 p.m. A caller reported a disturbance on Main Street. Officer Augusto Diaz responded, spoke with all parties and took a report.
5:04 p.m. A caller on Main Street reported fraud. Officer Nicholas Saletnik assisted and took a report.
5:41 p.m. Sgt. Cody Normandin took a report of stolen AirPods on Main Street.
6:12 p.m. Sgt. Cody Normandin took a report of fraud on Main Street.
6:25 p.m. Officer Kyle Quinzani removed a tire from the roadway on West Main Street.
8:18 p.m. A caller reported two people dressed all in black and walking in the dark on West Main Street, where there were no sidewalks. Officer Kyle Quinzani checked the area, and all was OK.

May 15
12:25 a.m. A caller reported a suspicious vehicle on Blueberry Lane. Officer Lucille Creedon checked the vehicle and moved the operator along.
1:59 a.m. Officer Eva Cann made checks of Hoyt Way.
10:47 a.m. Officer Nicholas Walker and the Fire Department responded to Davis Road to a report of the inside odor of gas.
1:15 p.m. A caller complained that a construction crew at a site on Main Street was arch welding without a shield. The site manager was contacted and the Fire Department was notified.
4:41 p.m. A walk-in reported a vehicle struck his vehicle on Chestnut Street and then drove away. Officer Noah Buentello responded and took a report.
7:16 p.m. Officer Noah Buentello made checks of Weston Nurseries property on East Main Street.
8:53 p.m. A caller reported loud and obnoxious children in the pool area on Constitution Court. Officer Nicholas Saletnik responded and stated five youths were at the pool making minimal noise.
9:18 p.m. A caller reported seeing two or three juveniles break into her Walcott Valley Drive apartment. Sgt. Shannon Beloin and Officers Noah Buentello and Nicholas Saletnik responded and reported an apparent miscommunication between the caller and her son, who was retrieving some belongings.

May 16
2:40 a.m. Officer Eva Cann checked on Lakeshore Drive property.
5:17 a.m. A caller at a West Main Street facility reported that staff refused to help her with the temperature in her room. Officer Eva Cann assisted and spoke with staff.
11:06 a.m. Officer Nicholas Walker completed community relations on Legacy Farms North.
11:43 a.m. Officers Nicholas Walker and Nicholas Saletnik responded to a minor motor vehicle crash in a Main Street parking lot and assisted with paperwork exchange.
1:43 p.m. A caller reported a low-hanging wire in front of the Baypath Humane Society entrance on Cedar Street. Officer Nicholas Walker reported some slack in the wire but stated it was not a road hazard.
2:14 p.m. Officer Nicholas Walker notified Eversource of a fallen branch on primary wires on Wilson Street.
5:28 p.m. Sergeant Shannon Beloin checked on a vehicle on Parkwood Drive and found an Uber driver waiting for a customer.
7:31 p.m. A motorist reported an erratic operator swerving and stalling on Hayden Rowe Street. Officer Noah Buentello responded and was unable to locate the vehicle. The Ashland Police Department was notified.
8:35 p.m. An Oakhurst Road resident reported people in his neighbor’s house with flashlights. Officer Brian Ziniti responded and reported neighbors were helping the previous owners with work on the house. All was OK.
9:18 p.m. A caller reported a disturbance on West Main Street where two people appeared to be fighting and blocking each others’ vehicles. Officers Justin Cappuccio, Noah Buentello and Brian Ziniti responded and reported high school friends together.

May 17
12:14 a.m. A caller reported someone setting off fireworks on Wood Street. Officer Lucille Creedon responded and checked the area with a negative find.
10:08 a.m. A caller reported a young female driver on West Main Street was on her phone texting and driving erratically and nearly hit him and several other vehicles. Officer Benjamin Vaz attempted to contact the driver but was unable. The incident was logged.
12:10 p.m. Officer Nicholas Walker made checks of the State Park on Cedar Street.
12:15 p.m. A caller reported a disturbance on Main Street with two males yelling at each other. Officers Nicholas Walker and Nicholas Saletnik responded, spoke with both parties and reported the sale of an e-bike gone wrong. They were sent on their way.
1:34 p.m. Officer Nicholas Saletnik took a motor vehicle crash report on West Main Street.
2:29 p.m. Officer Nicholas Walker checked on a motor vehicle parked on Cedar Street Extension and sent the occupants on their way.
3:57 p.m. A Mayhew Court resident complained of a loud vehicle at her neighbor’s house. Officer Matthew LaTour responded and did not hear the vehicle.
6:44 p.m. Officer Nicholas Walker made checks of Hopkinton State Park on Cedar Street.
8:35 p.m. Officer Justin Cappuccio found a fallen wire on Hayward Street and notified Eversource.
8:47 p.m. Officer Nicholas Walker checked on a vehicle parked on West Main Street and found the driver taking a nap after his work shift. All was OK.

May 18
5:40 a.m. Officer Lucille Creedon assisted as an election escort at the voting polls.
8:12 a.m. Officer Benjamin Vaz made checks of Loop Road.
8:50 a.m. A caller reported finding a container of knives left on the side of the roadway on Wilson Street. Officer Benjamin Vaz checked the area with a negative find.
9:14 a.m. A caller complained about police detail and the traffic flow on Chestnut Street. Officer Benjamin Vaz responded and checked with the police detail.
9:43 a.m. A South Street business owner requested assistance with an unruly client. Sergeant William Burchard responded and took a report.
6:28 p.m. Officer Matthew LaTour assisted the Fire Department in responding to a report of water in the basement at an Autumn Ridge Drive residence.
7:47 p.m. A caller complained of jet skiers on the beach on Lakeshore Drive. Officer Kyle Quinzani responded and reported the individuals were leaving for the night.
7:55 p.m. Officer Matthew LaTour assisted a disabled motor vehicle on Grove Street and attempted a jump-start. A tow truck was requested.
8:52 p.m. A caller reported a teenager riding an e-bike on private property on East Street. The incident was logged.
9:29 p.m. Officers Kyle Quinzani and Matthew LaTour checked on a vehicle pulled over on South Street and stood by with lights as the operator walked to the gas station to get fuel for the vehicle.
