ARRESTS

August 27
2:09 p.m. On Hayden Rowe Street, Officers Kyle Quinzani and Nicholas Walker arrested a 70-year-old from Framingham and charged him with operation of a motor vehicle with license suspended and possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

POLICE LOG

August 26
12:52 a.m. A caller on Main Street reported a van pulled up to her and another person and then drove off erratically. Officers Noah Buentello and Eva Cann responded to Hopkinton Lumber and transported two females to a residence.
2:03 a.m. Officer Eva Cann checked on a vehicle on Parkwood Drive occupied by a female, who stated she did not feel well and pulled over. She declined EMS and moved along.
11:05 a.m. Officer Noah Buentello made checks of Wilson Street property.
1:37 p.m. A caller complained of two tractor-trailers blocking the roadway on B Street. Officer Noah Buentello responded and reported the trucks moved.
2:40 p.m. A walk-in with questions regarding a family situation spoke with Officer Robert Ekross, who provided advice.
2:52 p.m. A walk-in handed in a found cell phone. The owner was notified.
8:38 p.m. Officer Justin Cappuccio assisted the State Police with a traffic stop on West Main Street.
9:42 p.m. Officers Kyle Quinzani and Justin Cappuccio checked on a vehicle in the Sandy Beach parking lot and found lifeguards hanging out.

August 27
12:40 a.m. Officer Jennifer Manning made checks of the Fruit Street fields.
1:45 a.m. Officer Eva Cann checked on a vehicle parked on Hayden Rowe Street and found an occupant asleep. He was moved along.
7:16 a.m. Officer Noah Buentello and Deputy Chief  Scott van Raalten completed community relations on Hayden Rowe Street on the first day of school.
8:07 a.m. Officer Robert Ekross checked on a school bus stop on Aspen Way.
8:13 a.m. Officer Benjamin Vaz checked on a school bus stop on Breakneck Hill Road.
8:17 a.m. A Leonard Street walk-in requested to speak with an officer about an ongoing issue with her landlord. Officer Noah Buentello assisted and took a report.
8:18 a.m. Officer Jennifer Manning completed community relations at a school bus stop on Autumn Ridge Road.
8:28 a.m. Police Chief Joseph Bennett and Officer Benjamin Vaz completed community relations during drop-off at Marathon School on Hayden Rowe Street.
10:58 a.m. Officer Robert Ekross responded to a motor vehicle accident on Main Street and took a report.
10:59 a.m. Officer Benjamin Vaz assisted a disabled motor vehicle on Avenue C.
2:44 p.m. Police Chief Joseph Bennett and multiple officers responded along with the Fire Department to a report of fallen debris in the roadway from the demolition of the former Hopkinton Drug on Grove and Main Streets. Three detail officers were requested, and the road subsequently was reopened.
3:11 p.m. Officer Matthew LaTour responded to a motor vehicle crash on West Main Street. No personal injuries were reported.
4:40 p.m. Officer Aline Matos made checks of Elm Street property.
5:02 p.m. A walk-in requested to speak with an officer about retrieving property from a Hopkinton resident. Officer Kyle Quinzani assisted and took a report.
8:12 p.m. A caller reported a motor vehicle accident on Front Street with a vehicle on its side. Officers Matthew LaTour, Justin Cappuccio and Kyle Quinzani responded. No personal injuries were reported.
8:40 p.m. Officer Matthew LaTour assisted a disabled motor vehicle on Cedar Street and stood by while a tow truck was en route.

August 28
12:08 a.m. Officer Lucille Creedon made checks of Sandy Beach on Lakeshore Drive.
7:23 a.m. A caller reported a dog running loose on Greenwood Drive. Officer Noah Buentello responded, located a small, white, schnauzer-type dog and notified the animal control officer. The owner subsequently was located.
7:27 a.m. Police Chief Joseph Bennett and Officer Augusto Diaz completed community relations during school drop-off on Hayden Rowe Street.
8:58 a.m. A Wood Street caller reported a raccoon in distress in the water. Sgt. William Burchard responded and reported the raccoon was deceased. The animal control officer was notified.
11:13 a.m. A caller reported he fell into an unattended manhole on Main Street. Officer Augusto Diaz responded, and the individual refused medical care. Officer Diaz checked with nearby businesses for video footage. A report was taken.
11:18 a.m. Officer Matthew LaTour made checks of the Elmwood School on Elm Street.
2:30 p.m. A caller reported a disabled motor vehicle and a person trying to change a tire in a hazardous spot on Hayden Rowe Street. Officer Kyle Quinzani responded and stood by while a tow truck was en route.
3:23 p.m. A caller reported fifth and sixth graders harassing another student on Main Street. Officer Sean McKeon responded and reported the harassed student was gone upon his arrival. He spoke to the other students and gave them a ride home.
4:29 p.m. The Upton Police Department reported an erratic driver on South Street. Officer Nicholas Saletnik responded and was unable to locate the vehicle.
5:57 p.m. A Woodview Way caller reported a dog bit him. Officer Kyle Quinzani took a report and notified the animal control officer.
6:05 p.m. A walk-in, who only spoke Spanish, asked for advice about a situation at work. He did not want to give his name. The incident was logged.
10:37 p.m. A Constitution Court resident reported hearing screaming in a nearby apartment. Sgt. Arthur Schofield and Officers Sean McKeon and Nicholas Saletnik responded and spoke with the resident, who stated the noise possibly was coming from a TV.
11:27 p.m. The Holliston Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash resulting in pole damage on College Street. Officer Jennifer Manning responded to assist.

August 29
1:10 a.m. Officer Eva Cann checked on a vehicle parked on Legacy Farms North and found the occupant asleep. All was OK.
2:23 a.m. Officer Eva Cann checked on a vehicle parked by the basketball courts on Hayden Rowe Street and found it unoccupied and secure.
12:15 p.m. A caller reported identity theft. Officer Benjamin Vaz assisted and took a report.
2:39 p.m. Sgt. Cody Normandin assisted a person with non-firearms fingerprinting.
6:32 p.m. The Milford Police Department requested assistance in checking on a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident in Milford. Officer Sean McKeon checked on the vehicle at an East Main Street address and confirmed the damage. He spoke with the owner and then contacted the Milford Police Department.
8:18 p.m. A caller complained of vehicles triple-parked on Main Street. Officer Nicholas Saletnik responded, and the vehicles cleared out.
11:33 p.m. Officer Jennifer Manning responded along with the Fire Department to Woodview Way for a fire alarm activation and advised all residents to evacuate the apartment building.

August 30
1:39 a.m. Officer Eva Cann checked on a vehicle parked on West Main Street and found a female who had pulled over to rest. She was to move along.
5:05 a.m. A Constitution Court resident complained of loud people outside of the apartment building and stated they were fighting two days ago. Officer Nicholas Walker spoke with the caller, who planned to email a video to him but did not want to give any of her personal information. Officer Eva Cann checked the area and found no one around.
5:18 a.m. Officer Nicholas Walker checked on a vehicle on Parkwood Drive and found a male occupant sleeping. All was OK.
9:24 a.m. An Old Farm Road resident reported her dog escaped out the back gate. While on the phone, the caller reported the dog returned.
9:56 a.m. A Clinton Street resident reported the sewer treatment facility was leaking near the roadway. Officer Augusto Diaz reached out to the site contact, as it was a private sewer treatment facility, and left a message.
1:34 p.m. A passerby on Main Street reported smoke in the area. Officer Nicholas Walker and the Fire Department responded and reported an illegal burn.
1:38 p.m. A walk-in requested to speak with an officer about a civil dispute. Officer Augusto Diaz assisted and took a report.
3:59 p.m. Two callers reported something was tied to a goose’s legs on West Main Street. The animal control officer was notified and attempted to free the bird.
4:29 p.m. A caller reported four dogs off leash on Woodview Way. Officer Justin Cappuccio responded and spoke to a family inside a fenced-in area. He reported all dogs were leashed.
7:52 p.m. Officer Justin Cappuccio made checks of the LNG plant on Wilson Street.
9:58 p.m. A Ridge Road resident reported one juvenile, about 5-foot-9 with white sneakers, knocked loudly on his door and rang the doorbell, then ran away. Officer Sean McKeon responded and checked the area with a negative find.
11:28 p.m. An East Street caller reported someone had been honking their horn for a while. Officer Eva Cann responded and checked the area with a negative find. She spoke with the reporting person, who stated she found the noise coming from a space heater inside the home.

August 31
12:19 a.m. Officer Eva Cann checked on a vehicle on Hayden Rowe Street occupied by two people and moved them along.
10:39 a.m. Officer Nicholas Walker assisted the Milford Police Department in searching for a white van in the area of Cedar Street. He checked the area with a negative find.
11:32 a.m. A traffic constable working detail on Cedar Street reported a bicyclist was hit by a vehicle. Sgt. Cody Normandin responded, and the individual was up and walking upon his arrival. He agreed to be examined by EMS. A crash report was taken.
11:58 a.m. A walk-in handed in a Subaru key found on Hayden Rowe Street.
12:27 p.m. A Saddle Hill Road resident reported his mailbox was destroyed by a vehicle, and he wanted to file a report. Officer Augusto Diaz responded and took a report.
4:53 p.m. A caller reported a car alarm had been going off the past couple of days on Constitution Court. Officer Sean  McKeon responded and attempted to make contact with the owner, who was known to police. The alarm was deactivated.
5:49 p.m. Sgt. Arthur Schofield completed community relations on Victory Lane.
5:52 p.m. A walk-in handed in a check found on the floor at a bank. The owner was contacted.
9:21 p.m. A caller reported the car alarm of a tan Kia Sportage with no license plates was sounding again on Constitution Court. Officer Justin Cappuccio went to the registered owner’s apartment, and nobody was home. He left another message for the owner. The alarm stopped.
10:22 p.m. An irate Constitution Court caller reported the car alarm of the same vehicle with no license plates was sounding again. The property management company was notified, and the vehicle was to be towed.
10:27 p.m. Sgt. Arthur Schofield assisted the State Police with a motor vehicle stop on Main Street.
11:03 p.m. A tow truck driver requested an officer on Constitution Court, where he was trying to tow a vehicle, but parties on scene were being difficult, and the owner of the vehicle paid a drop fee to get his vehicle off the tow truck. The tow truck driver disconnected the battery so that the alarm would not sound anymore. Officer Eva Cann responded and spoke with all involved parties.

September 1
12:16 a.m. Sgt. Shannon Beloin and Officer Eva Cann checked on a vehicle on West Main Street and found a person who appeared to be camping. They moved him along.
12:52 a.m. Officer Eva Cann made checks of Pratt Way property.
6:27 a.m. Sgt. Shannon Beloin removed debris from the roadway on West Main Street.
8:48 a.m. Officer Nicholas Walker made checks of the State Park on Cedar Street.
3:56 p.m. Sgt. Shannon Beloin made checks of the former Center School property on Ash Street.
