ARRESTS

August 29
4:41 p.m. On South Street, Officer Nicholas Saletnik arrested a 42-year-old Shrewsbury resident on a warrant.

August 27
12:52 a.m. Sergeant Arthur Schofield made checks of Legacy Farms North.
9:31 a.m. Sergeant William Burchard made checks of the LNG plant on Wilson Street.
11:03 a.m. A walk-in reported a tree fell on primary wires on East Main Street. Sergeant William Burchard responded and notified Eversource.
12:19 p.m. A walk-in handed in a wallet found on Hayden Rowe Street.
12:42 p.m. A caller reported a suspicious incident with a waiter on Hayward Street and subsequent suspicious credit card activity. Sergeant William Burchard assisted and took a report.
1:49 p.m. A caller reported a large turtle in the roadway on Lumber Street that was causing a road hazard. Officer Shannon Beloin responded and reported the turtle was removed from the roadway upon her arrival.
5:30 p.m. A caller reported a motor vehicle accident on the MassPike involving a motorcycle and a car. No personal injuries were reported. The State Police were notified.
8:17 p.m. A West Elm Street caller reported a person knocked on her door just before 8 p.m. The caller was advised that there were solicitors in the area. Sergeant Arthur Schofield responded and reported the solicitors left the area.
9:28 p.m. A Sanctuary Lane resident reported a bat in her house. Sergeant Aaron O’Neil and Officer Nicholas Saletnik responded and assisted.
10:50 p.m. Officer Nicholas Saletnik made checks of Main Street buildings.

August 28
1:07 a.m. Sergeant Arthur Schofield made checks of Lakeshore Drive property.
7:12 a.m. A caller reported a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident on Lumber Street with a black SUV as the offending vehicle. Officers Noah Buentello and Shannon Beloin responded and assisted with changing a tire. A report was taken.
7:20 a.m. Sergeants Matthew Santoro and Scott van Raalten and Officer Brian Ziniti completed community relations on Hayden Rowe Street on the first day of school.
7:28 a.m. Officer Shannon Beloin assisted a disabled motor vehicle on Lumber Street.
7:46 a.m. Officers Brian Ziniti and Shannon Beloin took a crash report on Main Street and issued a citation to the driver.
8:26 a.m. Sergeants Matthew Santoro and Scott van Raalten completed community relations on Hayden Rowe Street on the first day of school.
8:34 a.m. Officer Noah Buentello completed community relations at Elmwood School on the first day of school.
11:57 a.m. A walk-in requested assistance with keeping the peace while getting his property. Officer Shannon Beloin assisted.
1:14 p.m. Officer Noah Buentello made checks of Sandy Beach on Lakeshore Drive.
1:26 p.m. The manager at the Mobil gas station on Main Street in Framingham requested to speak with an officer about damage done to a gas pump by a Hopkinton resident. The resident was contacted.
5:59 p.m. Officer Matthew LaTour made checks of Sandy Beach and issued four parking violations.
6:26 p.m. A Constitution Court caller reported being struck by a golf cart. Officer Matthew LaTour responded and took a report.
6:59 p.m. A caller reported his electric vehicle was not charging at Price Chopper on West Main Street and he was able to get his vehicle down to the charging ports behind 77 West Main Street. Sergeant Arthur Schofield and Officer Nicholas Saletnik assisted.
7:12 p.m. A caller reported a disturbance at Sandy Beach, where a jet ski had been taking off from the beach for the past few hours. Sergeant Arthur Schofield responded and advised the jet skier of the complaint.
7:27 p.m. A West Main Street resident reported he did not have any water in his house. The Water Department was contacted and responded.
8:30 p.m. Officer Matthew LaTour made checks of Pratt Way property and found a beekeeper checking on his boxes. All was OK.

August 29
7:24 a.m. A Grove Street resident reported damage to her property caused by a landscaper doing work at her neighbor’s house. She requested a police report while the landscapers were still on site. Officer Nicholas Walker responded and spoke with both parties. No report was taken, as it was a civil issue.
7:47 a.m. Officer Brian Ziniti came across a motor vehicle accident on Grove Street and issued a verbal warning to one operator.
7:59 a.m. A motorist reported his vehicle was sideswiped on West Main Street, and the other vehicle did not stop. Sergeant Matthew McNeil and Officers Nicholas Walker and Brian Ziniti responded, caught up with the vehicle and reported damage was not done to either vehicle.
9:03 a.m. Sergeant Matthew Santoro assisted with bus drop-off at Elmwood School on Elm Street.
10:56 a.m. A caller reported a deer was attacked by a fisher cat on South Mill Street. Officer Nicholas Walker responded and checked the area with a negative find.
11:24 a.m. A walk-in handed in a DCU debit card found on Main Street. A message was left for the owner.
2:07 p.m. Officer Nicholas Walker checked on a vehicle on Wilson Street and saw an Eversource work permit in the window. LNG was contacted, as an unattended gas tank was not far from the vehicle.
3:06 p.m. A walk-in reported he was scammed by a local electrician. Sergeant Matthew McNeil took a report.
5:23 p.m. A caller complained of a vehicle operating at a high rate of speed and passing several vehicles on Legacy Farms North. Sergeant Matthew McNeil stopped the vehicle and spoke with the driver.
6:32 p.m. A walk-in reported he was bitten by his landlord’s dog. Sergeant Aaron O’Neil took a report.
8:23 p.m. A caller reported she came across a loose dog in the roadway on School Street. She knocked on several doors in the neighborhood and could not find the owner, so she took the dog to her house. The animal control officer was notified and the owner was subsequently located.
10:34 p.m. The Ashland Police Department requested an officer to assist with a traffic stop in Ashland. Sergeant Matthew McNeil and Officer Kyle Quinzani responded and assisted.

August 30
1:09 a.m. Officer Sean McKeon checked on Hayden Rowe Street property.
6:29 a.m. A caller reported a construction sign was in the middle of the Interstate 495 South on-ramp. Officer Kyle Quinzani responded and removed the sign.
11:25 a.m. Officer Brian Ziniti made checks of Frankland Road property.
5:03 p.m. A motorist reported he was rear-ended on Hayden Rowe Street. Sergeant Aaron O’Neil and Officer Augusto Diaz responded and took a report.
5:30 p.m. Officer Augusto Diaz completed community relations on Legacy Farms North.
6:02 p.m. A caller reported a possibly confused elderly man walking with a cane in the middle of the roadway on Clinton Street. Officer Augusto Diaz responded and could not locate the man.
10:05 p.m. Officer Nicholas Saletnik assisted a disabled motor vehicle with a dead battery on West Main Street. AAA was contacted.

August 31
12:57 a.m. Officer Kyle Quinzani made checks of Wilson Street property.
9:17 a.m. A walk-in handed in a check found on Maple Street.
9:29 a.m. Officer Augusto Diaz completed community relations on Fruit Street.
10:53 a.m. Officer Noah Buentello made checks of the LNG plant on Wilson Street.
12:13 p.m. The Milford Police Department reported a high-speed chase headed into Hopkinton. Sergeant Matthew McNeil and Officers Noah Buentello and Augusto Diaz responded, and the vehicle passed them. Both Hopkinton and Milford officers pursued the vehicle, which turned onto Aikens Road. Southborough and Ashland officers responded to assist. The suspect was wearing a black T-shirt and white shorts. Two K-9 units and a drone from Milford were utilized. The suspect was not found. The Ashland and Milford Police Departments were to handle the incident.
1:30 p.m. Sergeant Matthew McNeil checked on the driver of a vehicle on Cedar Street in relation to the earlier car chase. All was OK.
2:32 p.m. A caller reported two pit bulls were chasing him and his dog on Wilson Street. Officers Noah Buentello and Augusto Diaz responded and located the caller, who was able to get away from the pit bulls.
4:02 p.m. Officer Shannon Beloin made checks of the former Center School property on Ash Street.
4:32 p.m. Officer Shannon Beloin made checks of EMC Park on Hayden Rowe Street.
4:53 p.m. A caller reported dogs on school fields on Hayden Rowe Street, where they are prohibited. Officer Shannon Beloin responded and reported the dog walkers were gone upon her arrival.
5:13 p.m. Officer Shannon Beloin checked on Loop Road.
6:25 p.m. A School Street resident reported landscapers were working in violation of town bylaw. Sergeant Matthew McNeil responded, spoke with the landscapers and shut them down.
9:34 p.m. Sergeant William Burchard checked on a group of teens hanging out in the roadway of Fruit Street. He found them leaving a friend’s house and stood by until they were gone.
9:45 p.m. Sergeant William Burchard removed youths from Evergreen Cemetery on Wood Street. Parents responded to pick up their children and take possession of alcohol. A report was taken.
9:53 p.m. A caller reported seeing a vehicle enter the YMCA property on East Street and requested a check of the property. Officer Shannon Beloin responded. All checked out OK.
11:45 p.m. Officer Shannon Beloin moved along a group of 20 cars on Hayden Rowe Street.

September 1
2:08 a.m. Officer Kyle Quinzani checked on Avenue D property.
7:47 a.m. A caller reported a vehicle was taking up multiple parking spots on Main Street. Officer Augusto Diaz responded and had the owner move the vehicle.
8:15 a.m. A School Street resident reported landscapers were back mowing a lawn in violation of town bylaw. Officer Noah Buentello responded, advised the landscapers of the bylaw and shut them down.
12:35 p.m. A walk-in handed in a set of keys found on Greenwood Road while he was out walking.
12:45 p.m. The Marlborough Police Department requested assistance getting in touch with a Constitution Court resident regarding to her stolen motor vehicle. Officer Noah Buentello assisted.
5:02 p.m. Officer Shannon Beloin completed community relations at Sandy Beach.
6:01 p.m. A Stoney Brook Road caller reported a neighbor was hosting a party and taking up the whole street. Officer Shannon Beloin responded and spoke to the neighbor, who stated permission was given by the police chief to hold a block party. The road subsequently was opened up.
9:46 p.m. The Milford Police Department reported an erratic operator crossing lanes and headed into Hopkinton. Sergeant William Burchard responded and reported the vehicle went into Holliston. The Holliston Police Department located the driver at a residence.

September 2
12:01 a.m. Officer Sean McKeon made checks of the Fruit Street fields.
8:32 a.m. A caller reported a town bylaw violation on Lakeshore Drive. Officer Shannon Beloin responded and spoke with two construction companies doing work on a holiday and shut them down.
8:44 a.m. A walk-in reported an email scam. Officer Brian Ziniti assisted and took a report.
8:53 a.m. A caller reported a dog off its leash who bit him a few days ago on Ash Street. Officers Shannon Beloin and Brian Ziniti responded and spoke with the owner, who was able to get the dog back inside the residence.The animal control officer was to follow up.
10:24 a.m. A caller reported she was charging her vehicle on Elm Street and someone took the charger off in the middle of charging and used it for himself. Officer Shannon Beloin provided advice.
10:32 a.m. A caller reported several parking complaints on Lakeshore Drive. Officer Noah Buentello responded and issued parking citations.
12:00 p.m. Officer Noah Buentello completed community policing at Sandy Beach on Lakeshore Drive.
1:41 p.m. A passerby reported to Officer Noah Buentello that a chair was in the roadway on South Street. Officer Buentello removed it.
2:11 p.m. Multiple callers reported a vehicle crashed into a pole on Main Street. No personal injuries were reported. Officers Brian Ziniti, Noah Buentello and Shannon Beloin responded and took a crash report. The pole was slightly damaged, and the vehicle was towed.
4:53 p.m. Officer Nicholas Saletnik completed community relations on Greystone Lane.
10:02 p.m. Officer Matthew LaTour made checks of the Fruit Street fields. He found an individual on a field and moved him along.
10:37 p.m. A walk-in handed in an iPad that she found.
11:59 p.m. Officer Kylke Quinzani checked on Parkwood Drive property.
