Hopkinton High School junior Victoria Jackson has award-winning photography skills. She has earned two silver keys and one gold key in the Scholastic Arts Awards since she began learning photography freshman year. The photo for which she won the gold award has been featured in multiple exhibitions, including the UMass Lowell Regional High School Exhibition. “Tori is an outstanding photography student known for her sound technical skills and ability to capture compelling, authentic portraits,” stated HHS photography teacher Sterling Worrell. He added that Jackson, who recently became co-president of the HHS Photo Club, “consistently produces high-quality work.”
The Arts Residency, sponsored by realtor Alan Connell, is a regular Hopkinton Independent feature. Every other week, Hopkinton Independent staff selects an individual to highlight following consultation with leaders in the local arts community.
