ATOZ details marijuana testing plans in community meeting

by | May 10, 2020 | Business, News

ATOZ Laboratories, which plans to open a cannabis testing laboratory inside the single-story brick building at 100 South St., held a state-mandated community outreach meeting online on May 7.

Company owner Dr. Bud Zaouk explained that his new testing lab would have minimal amounts of marijuana — likely “a few ounces” — and would have multiple levels of security. Only testing, research and development would take place on site. There would be no products produced or distributed.

He added that the company would look to hire locally when it starts to fill its staff.
