Baypath Adoptable Animal of the Week: Cookie

by | May 23, 2022 | Featured

Adoptable Animal-Cookie

Each week, the Independent highlights an animal available for adoption at Baypath Humane Society in Hopkinton. This week’s adoptable animal is Cookie, a 1-year-old female who has been overlooked thus far.

Here is Baypath’s description of Cookie:

“Just like your favorite cookie treat, Cookie makes a perfectly sweet and sensational addition to your home. She can often be found tossing toys in the air only to chase after them and repeat! She is sure to brighten up your day and make you smile with her playfulness. She loves squeaky toys and will get the zoomies when she is excited.

“Cookie has a nice, medium energy level and has a nice, compact size at 45 pounds. While she loves to play and run around, she is also happy just having someone to spend time with or getting comfy on her bed! If you settle down next to Cookie, get ready for a lap dog! She loves to be close to you, but at the same time is always up for an adventure!

“Cookie has great manners and is very smart. She keeps her room nice and clean and is house-trained. She is very food motivated and wants to please! She knows sit, touch, down and look and is working on stay! She is excited to learn more tricks with her new people. She rides nicely in the car, and loves going on field trips and hiking adventures!

“The ideal home for Cookie is to live with adults or older teens and be the only animal in the home. Cookie can be a little nervous when meeting new people, but she doesn’t take too long to warm up to them. Once she gets a treat from you, she quickly learns that you are her new friend! As she warms up to you, you will love watching her goofy and sweet personality come out!”
