Each week, the Independent highlights an animal available for adoption at Baypath Humane Society in Hopkinton. This week’s adoptable animal is 8-month-old Diesel.

Here is Baypath’s description of Diesel:

“Meet Diesel, a goofy 8-month-old pup in search of his forever Valentine. Diesel is a big, affectionate pup who loves to play and zoom around (especially with squeaky toys).

“Despite some initial nervousness around new people, Diesel is easily won over with treats and warms up quickly. This food-motivated pup gets along well with other dogs and would thrive in a home with older teens or adults. Diesel is looking for an adopter with dog experience who shares his enthusiasm for continued training and adventures.

“Diesel is hoping for a quiet neighborhood setting. The hustle and bustle of city or apartment life may be overwhelming for him, but a fenced-in yard would be the perfect space for him to enjoy his playtime.
