Each week, the Independent highlights an animal available for adoption at Baypath Humane Society in Hopkinton. This week’s adoptable animal is 1-year-old Malu.

Here is Baypath’s description of Malu:

“Malu is a bouncy bundle of energy who’s ready to start her next chapter with a family who’s up for fun, playtime and lots of walks. She’s happiest exploring the great outdoors, joining you for car rides or tossing around her favorite stuffed toy.

“She’s friendly with visitors, loves being around people and will gladly join you on daily errands or neighborhood strolls. While she’s still learning the ropes when it comes to manners and training, she’s eager to please and would thrive with someone who can continue guiding her with patience and consistency.

“At the end of a fun-filled day, she settles happily into her crate — her favorite cozy spot. If you’re looking for a spunky sidekick who’s equal parts playful and snuggly, Malu might be your girl!”
